How do I remove "firefox browser being managed by your organisation" . I have looked at several posts and don't understand a word of it. I recently re-installed Firefox and lost all my passwords but still have bookmarks, every time I turn off firefox it forgets my account sign in, I then get an email to say I have signged in on a new device. I suspect it is the Norton 360 security software. Please can someone explain in simple terms how to remove it. I have tried contacting Norton but their support is worse than Microsoft.

Some sites I use will not let me use them unless I stop using add blocking. I have not installed an add blocker so I am thinking it must be one in Firefox. Assuming this is true, how can I discontinue the add blocker at a specific site so I can access/read/use its contents. Thank you in advance for any help you may be able to provide. Ken

I am trying to free up some disc space, so I ran Disk Cleanup, but no improvement.

It shows over 430MB Temporary Internet Files, all of which are under a padlock icon. The size just keeps on increasing from day to day.

How can I remove some or all these Temporary Internet Files and regain disc space?

I received an email with the heading Mozilla Monitor listing my monthly Monitor report. Said I had 7 data breaches and asking me to click to resolve or click to view details. Is this a scam? Send answer to k.krukowski@comcast.net

Hi, I had an addon installed through github and I had to realise today it vanished without a trace. Not from github, its still there. I just reinstalled it. Vanished from my browser. With all my settings. Non of the firefox addon store addons were affected by the way.

My question thus: What the fuck and how do I prevent that from happening again?

I had a website that possibly phished me in my Firefox browser. I was in a webpage, and I had a full screen McAfee notification for a possible malware and asked to start a scan. I wasn't fully realizing what was happening and I did so. I was able to get out of the full screen mode and realized it was the webpage I was on but wasn't the same page I had been on previously. I started getting security popups as if Microsoft was issuing them, but I couldn't close them, and they all had links to follow. I killed the internet connection, tried repairing Firefox and still got the pop ups. So, I uninstalled Firefox and that stopped the popups. Can you tell me if there are any current security vulnerabilities with Firefox and can you tell me if there is a record of what my Firefox browser downloaded and installed on my computer?

Now that Mozilla/Firefox have joined Google on the dark side, who is everyone switching to? I would like something that works well in both Windows and android. I hear Opera can't be trusted and I don't like how there are like 6 difference versions of Opera in the android app store. DuckduckGo is just badly made IMO. Edge causes some glitches with one of the sites I use most. Should I try Brave? I just want a browser to BROWSE the web. I don't want AI. I don't need a VPN or adblock built in. I don't want a "gamer" browser. A decent local password manager would be nice but I don't want to have to make an account to use it. I know if the product is free, you are the product, so I would almost prefer a browser you pay for but oddly that doesn't seem to be a popular option. Probably because the user data the companies collect makes them more money then people would be willing to pay. Sad times. I miss the 90's.

I regularly receive email advice (via Thunderbird) from companies to access my account with them.

Two days ago I selected a link to direct me to the secure form. I note that the exact same link has been provided to me in the past and opened. This time however I was confronted with "Invalid Address".

I was advised to copy the link into another browser; I chose "Edge" and the form opened.

I have cleared FireFox's "Recent History" but that still gives no joy.

How do I overcome this?

Is there something in a configuration file that I might edit, or a potentially corrupt Windows Registry entry?

I do not use any Windows Security depending upon Bitdefender (which has never created any issues of this nature).

Hello Since the last update I have not been able to sign in to Government sites using my bank as a sign in partner. I am able to sign in using Google Chrome but I prefer Firefox for my daily browser. I have cleared cache and all data and am still unable to sign in. I am using Version 137.0.1 (64-bit)

Your help will be appreciated.

With the change in the Privacy policy and TOU for Mozilla, it's been mentioned in several official responses that certain functionality will not be possible going forward without those changes.

If I never use suggestions, hints, or any mozilla services with firefox. Just what functionality becomes a problem that you need to change the "We will never sell your data" and the other equally disturbing "you grant mozilla a irrevocable non-exclusive royalty free right..."?

How about some clear transparency instead of the opaque non-specific statements you've been making?

Loyal users of firefox for the last 20+ years deserve better than this.

Oh, and why can't I remove the search shortcuts for bookmarks, tabs and history, I'd like to map those keys to something else.

Currently I must sign on to Frontline Education to see if there are any new substitute teaching job offers available 24/7. I would like to receive audible notifications on my Macbook Pro or Apple ipad or Apple iphone to alert me to a new job offer so that I can then go to my device and look at the job offer. Thank you. Hi I am a long time user of firefox because i love its customization and tools available to help me with my work and personal life. Recently i have been ordered to remove Firefox from the company laptop as it was deemed insecure by the IT and security department. I have been told to use MS edge and Google's Chrome. Their reasoning is "An inconsistent comparator in xslt/txNodeSorter could have resulted in potentially exploitable out-of-bounds access. Only affected version 122 and later. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 136 and Firefox ESR < 128.8." I do not know what this means. Is there something i can tell my IT department to argue against the directive to only use either Edge or Chrome. Best regards, F Silva
