I like using Firefox. But there is an area of my use in private browsing, where I want to have either multiple instances of windows or tabs open and they are recognised as separate browing instances.

Example of what I would like to see is, when I enter a website in private browsing, most sites would ask me to accept cookies. If I either accept or reject without closing this original another private window, it'd remember I've already chosen.

As far as I know, chrome also acts like this. But someone has pointed out Safari doesn't. I've tried it, and it does what I need. However as put in the beginning, I like using Firefox, and is wondering if anyone know if there are any plugins or settings in about:config that can make it happen?

Hi I use Firefox on 2 mac and 1 IoS device. The passwords or saved logins don't seem to sync across devices, even though they are all logged in via my account. Kindly advise.

I have problems with dragging files from downloads directly to my desktop. Now, in order to drag downloaded files I have to open the downloads folder, which is an additional step and a nuisance.

Is there any way to get the old functionality back?

Since firefox's latest update I am unable to access my online PNC banking account. PNC says that Firefox is no longer compatible with their online banking system. I'm using an IMAC computer. Hi, I have been working on a old project for one of my clients and found an issue. The firefox version i am using is 95.0.1 64bit version. After signing in, inside response headers from the server i am getting

set-cookie MYSESSION=eyJ***** HttpOnly

which is then used on next request i make to the server as Cookie MYSESSION=eyJhb***

But after upgrading my firefox version, although i am able to see the response header sent back from server, but it is not being sent in request header for the next api call.

Also this issue is only for localhost, works fine in production https urls

I would like to know what has changed in new version in terms of handling the response headers, thanks!

When I click on the Window tab in the Firefox menu, my website prayingwithmylegs[dot]com is only listed as "Mozilla Firefox" unlike all the other windows. This does not happen in Chrome, Safari or Opera.

Also, how do I get the Sidebar to not automatically open when I open my saved windows in Firefox? It wasn't doing that before.

Firefox regularly prevents me from adding attachments to my mail in Gmail. I know the problem is with Firefox because i will have to switch to Chrome and it will work fine. It also sometimes - but not always - fixes it to close Firefox and reopen it, but then it just happens again and again, and I don't like to have to do that - I will usually be on deadline with multiple windows I need to have open. I have a MacBook Air. This has been going on for a while - I've tried reinstalling and everything. It's become so frustrating I'm close to having to stop using Firefox altogether, which I would prefer not to do. The must be some bug that can be fixed. Please Help!

I'm using Firefox for long time in my mac, today I update the Firefox to last version ( 111.0.1 ) but I get a problem in the letters on the page.

How can I fix this?

This has become really annoying: when I go to settings -files and application it is locked to "Downloads" Folder. I want them to go to desktop and then decide what folder I want to put them in (if at all)!

I often look up links/webpages on my phone and then transfer them to Firefox to view later. In the past, when I opened a link in firefox, then dragged the link to a specific folder on the Bookmarks toolbar, it would display the header of the link as the "name" of it. Now, when I transfer a link to a folder on the Bookmarks toolbar, it always sets the URL of the link as the "name" of the bookmark. How do I make it so that when I drag a link to the bookmarks toolbar it saves with the header rather than the URL.

If this helps, I'm using MacOS most of the time.

A website that I use normally displays a graph of my variable as a function of time, but it has recently ceased to display the graph. Other data is available in a normal manner on that website. The graph displays when I access the website via Safari (which I rarely use). The uploaded sample images are from Safari and from Firefox. I have enabled pop-ups for that website on Firefox, and I believe I have enabled cookies for that site. Javascript is enabled on Firefox. I can't identify the nature of the problem with Firefox. I am using iMac Pro with OS 12.6 for both. Thanks for any advice.

BUT I cannot get the item to log in. This is the error I receive: "We have encountered a System Error. Please navigate to the login page, and try your transaction again."

I go to many websites whose languages I don't know. When I used to use chrome, I could just right-click to translate it to English.

Unfortunately, I cannot seem to find anything comparable here. Is there any add-ons or anything that I can get for it?

Also, I wanted to create an issue in so that firefox natively supports this. This is the only thing that has kept me from removing Chrome altogether.

what the hell is wrong with firefox windows? /all my extensions are not showing in my toolbar. No themes are showing correctly. Just more problems to work around, as if I have the time, to go along with the "improvements" for my life?
