I'm trying to access Tiermaker but it won't let me because it says it is insecure. On other browsers, however, I can access it fine without any warnings. I don't have any accounts on there or anything that could be at risk. How do I access Tiermaker?

the website blockclubchicago.org is blank on firefox, but not chrome. The website is included in the Enhanced Tracking Protection exception list. Why won't my firefox display any pages from this website, but they are all visible on the chrome browser? Please try it on your desktop browsers.

I recently received notice of being a part of the one billionth data breach and I am officially sick of it. I love and use firefox and beta, but I know my privacy is not that protected. I was looking through reviews and found Waterfox which is supposed to be built on the firefox platform, but has better privacy protections. I downloaded it and all seemed right. I imported from Firefox. Then I tried to download it to my iphone and the only thing that came up was "Water Fox". I downloaded it and couldn't even get through opening it without crazy ads and it looking like some game app. It wanted my saved data from firefox to import. But, no way. Either this was pretending to be WaterFox and a scam, or WaterFox IS a scam. So, I'm hoping maybe someone here would know and would also know if I just made a huge mistake by installing this. If it were just an app pretending to be WaterFox, why wasn't there an actual waterfox app? That was the only one even close. And, the reviews said that WaterFox was students working with Firefox or something like that, but couldn't find anything about them in Firefox forums. Any info would be greatly appreciated. And, if I did just make a huge mistake, is there a way to fix it? I didn't sign in with the squirrely iphone app, but I did with the desktop. Eeeep.

I am looking to turn on review checker and cannot see how to do it. I don't have the price tag icon displayed nor do I have any reference to Review Checker in my settings. I'm wondering if my version of Firefox supports it (133.0). Any ideas?

I have a HUGE problem with Firefox memory usage. Some open instances of firefox are taking anywhere from 600mb to 2.8gb of memory. Since firefox opens MANY instances even with only ONE active window, this very quickly uses all available memory (4gb) causing a full laptop crash.

More concerning is that CLOSING the worst instance of memory usage STILL leaves the single open page/tab open, so what exactly was the memory eating instance actually doing ???

I have included a screengrab of the many remaining instances of firefox in windows task manager AFTER closing the main culprit.

I have also included a screengrab of all the adblockers I use which I believed would limit unnecessary memory usage, but does not seem to be effective.

This seems like a phishing email, is it legit? Should I find another browser?

Now that Mozilla/Firefox have joined Google on the dark side, who is everyone switching to? I would like something that works well in both Windows and android. I hear Opera can't be trusted and I don't like how there are like 6 difference versions of Opera in the android app store. DuckduckGo is just badly made IMO. Edge causes some glitches with one of the sites I use most. Should I try Brave? I just want a browser to BROWSE the web. I don't want AI. I don't need a VPN or adblock built in. I don't want a "gamer" browser. A decent local password manager would be nice but I don't want to have to make an account to use it. I know if the product is free, you are the product, so I would almost prefer a browser you pay for but oddly that doesn't seem to be a popular option. Probably because the user data the companies collect makes them more money then people would be willing to pay. Sad times. I miss the 90's.

I regularly receive email advice (via Thunderbird) from companies to access my account with them.

Two days ago I selected a link to direct me to the secure form. I note that the exact same link has been provided to me in the past and opened. This time however I was confronted with "Invalid Address".

I was advised to copy the link into another browser; I chose "Edge" and the form opened.

I have cleared FireFox's "Recent History" but that still gives no joy.

How do I overcome this?

Is there something in a configuration file that I might edit, or a potentially corrupt Windows Registry entry?

I do not use any Windows Security depending upon Bitdefender (which has never created any issues of this nature).

Hello Since the last update I have not been able to sign in to Government sites using my bank as a sign in partner. I am able to sign in using Google Chrome but I prefer Firefox for my daily browser. I have cleared cache and all data and am still unable to sign in. I am using Version 137.0.1 (64-bit)

Currently I must sign on to Frontline Education to see if there are any new substitute teaching job offers available 24/7. I would like to receive audible notifications on my Macbook Pro or Apple ipad or Apple iphone to alert me to a new job offer so that I can then go to my device and look at the job offer. Thank you. Hi I am a long time user of firefox because i love its customization and tools available to help me with my work and personal life. Recently i have been ordered to remove Firefox from the company laptop as it was deemed insecure by the IT and security department. I have been told to use MS edge and Google's Chrome. Their reasoning is "An inconsistent comparator in xslt/txNodeSorter could have resulted in potentially exploitable out-of-bounds access. Only affected version 122 and later. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 136 and Firefox ESR < 128.8." I do not know what this means. Is there something i can tell my IT department to argue against the directive to only use either Edge or Chrome. Best regards, F Silva

Hi. Block Party was just pitched by the WaPo but I see few people here are using it ... yet. Perhaps because you're not monitoring it? I am curious about how it got such a MAJOR free (?) promotion and whether/if there's a way you can or do verify it's claims? For instance, maybe it does what it says it does (clean/close gaps in privacy) but what does it do with the intel it gains?

Is there any chance you can/will verify it in the future?

I'm encountering some difficulties with my current account, which is locked out. I would like to request assistance from the support team to help me delete my account and remove my personal information from the platform. However, I'm having trouble finding the contact information for the support team. I had to create a new account just to post this question because my original account got locked out. This happened because I recently acquired a new phone and didn't transfer the two-step authentication information to my new device.

Since the update I've had a few issues, most I was able to fix but this one eludes me. Opening up various news sites I get the "Firefox prevented this page from reloading" error at the top and clicking allow does nothing. Anyone know how to get around this error? I'm not looking to totally disable the FF feature that prevents other pages from loading a different one, but just to browse the website after hitting 'allow'.

I have a question regarding the permission requests of the Simple Tab Groups extension by Drive4ik.

As I'm sure many of you know, this extension needs to: This add-on needs to:

• Download files and read and modify the browser’s download history
• Monitor extension usage and manage themes
• Display notifications to you
• Access recently closed tabs
• Hide and show browser tabs
• Access browser tabs
• Store unlimited amount of client-side data
• Access your data for all websites

This add-on may also ask to: Read and modify bookmarks

Theoretically, I find this extension useful but I am concerned about the "Access your data for all websites" requirement. I read through Mozilla's permission request messages for Firefox extensions documentation and it seems like granting this extension these permissions would be a huge risk for the work I do– investigative journalism. It seems like I'll trade organizational benefits for a wider attack surface.

Can anyone speak more about the risks involved with using this extension, the trustworthiness of the developer, and why it needs the "Access your data for all websites" capability?

I look at porn on my Android phone. I use Private Browsing to do so. Why are my Private Browsing addresses appearing as Firefox Suggest results that appear outside of Private Browsing as well? And why does Pornhub show me a personalized home page when I'm using Private Browsing? None of these pages are in my browser history because I've only accessed them via Private Browsing. But these "features" sort of defeat the purpose of it don't you think?

I've just switched from Chrome to Firefox and never had this issue with Chrome.
