I just upgraded from an older computer OS to Windows 11. I imported my bookmarks but really hate the new look of the bookmarks bar in Win11. The icons are all generic and have no color. I've attached a screen shot illustrating.

The font size in "Manage Bookmarks" is way too large, both in the sections list menu on the left and the list of bookmarks. I checked my userChrome.css file as well as the layout.css.devPixelsPerPx entry in about:config and there's nothing there to explain why only the "Manage Bookmarks" text is so large.

It's possible I changed a setting somewhere that's causing this. But I'm stumped re: what setting might be controlling the font size in only that UI. All other Firefox text sizes are good.

Hi- I'm trying to setup two step in Microsoft Authenticator. I scan in the QR code from the Mozilla settings and that appears to work. However when I copy the generated code from the app and try to enter it back into the settings in my browser it tells me the code is wrong and thus I can't setup two step. I've tried loads of different authenticator apps and none seem to work. Can you help please? Thanks- Adrian.

Je l'ai ensuite réinstallé, puis j'ai restauré le profil. Même si cette restauration semble efficace, il n'en reste rien quand je lance Firefox. Que faut-il faire pour récupérer mes données ?

For some time now, Firefox (the desktop version) has included a "recent browsing" section, which can be seen in the tab list before the open tabs. I would love to use it more, but moving the mouse to the corner every time to click it is a little irritating, and I would love a keyboard shortcut or the ability to set one (Alt+0 sounds very logical in particular - seeing as how Alt+[1-9] already takes me to a tab of corresponding number).

Can I set such a shortcut somehow or does it exist and I missed it?

As seen below in the screenshot I have been experiencing this error while browsing for the past few months now. I don't know why when i try to go google search something and then access the website i keep getting this message that the servers are not available and i do have a stable internet connection and its not a DNS issue. Could it be that google ad sense has restricted me as a user or it is something else... Please help because its been months now and i don't understand why this keeps coming up on every other website i try to access. I have to manually type in the search bar in order to access some websites and its really inconvenient when you are trying to get information on a certain topic or anything else.

Is there a Firefox add-on that will allow me to download YouTube videos onto my MacMini?

I tried Video DownloadHelper and YouTube Video Downloader and didn't see any action.

Do I need to setup settings a certain way to make it work?

What are the steps to make it work?

my dad accidently removed the bookmark bar and usually it's not a big deal especially since rustdesk is available and online, i restored it with two mouseclicks but ... is there a way to remove this option?

I bought a new pc and synced firefox with my old pc to transfer all my tabs and accounts. The new pc died within a day and i will have to return it to the manufacturer GMKTEC, the problem i have is all my accounts Ebay, Amazon etc are on it as well as my medical data. Is there something i can do with firefox to stop this information being looked at or used.

I have firefox as default browsers in both device (iPhone and Mac) and set up sync too. I happened to be a lot opening tabs in mobile firefox for unfinished reading which i wish to read later on. When i look for the way to save all inactive tabs from mobile, nearly all of advice (from Mozilla helps, from AI chat, from other tech pages) pointed to sync between devices. I did sync and close and clear tabs from mobile browser stupidly. To my horror, i can't restore those tabs from any devices anymore. I can access recently closed tab from history but not as the tabs i closed from mobile. The same scenario happened in Duckduckgo browser, Duckduckgo asked me the option to save those tab as bookmarks which i did and i can continue my reading easily. So, the question is, to streamline sync and save and restore tabs between devices, what setting in sync or what extension should i use?

All of a sudden Firefox shows saved addresses and cards on cell phone, not on desktop. There's 0 saved addresses and cards shown on desktop. extensions.formautofill.creditCards.supportedCountries is set up of course.
