Hi. I'm having problems with FF 5 remembering sessions. I had this problem with ver 4 and now with 5. And, believe it or not, there is no sessionstore.js or .bak in my profile folder. I have only the one profile and even after reinstalling ver 5, there's no sessionstore.

When I open FF, many windows pop open simultaneously. I run MS Win 7 x64. Help! Ever since ver 4 my FF experience sucks!

Check that session restore is still enabled.

You can also try "Reset all user preferences to Firefox defaults" on the Safe mode start window.

The options are set properly. I deleted the prefs.js file. Upon restarting FF5 there is now no prefs.js, sessionstore.js or sessionstore.bak in the profile folder!

I don't understand how that can even be if FF is opening. BTW, when I close FF with multiple tabs open, sometimes FF asks if I want to close all and sometimes it doesn't ask. This is very weird...
