i am trying to download the new software 3.6.16 and the box pops up that i don't have the authorization to do this. no one else uses my computer so i don't get this message.
for over a week now i have been trying to download this new update onto my computer but it never manages to install it. when i click on the help box i get a screen saying that i do not have the authorization to do this.

- Download a new copy of the Firefox program
- Firefox 4.0: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
- Firefox 3.6: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html
- Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean (re-)install
- Install the new version that you have downloaded
Your profile data is stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder, so you won't lose your bookmarks and other personal data.
