We manage a Gmail-account with 3 persons. Emails are stored with different labels. What happens in Thunderbird when an email is stored in a folder, will it still be accessible by another person on a different computer ?
We manage an email-account in Gmail with 3 persons. We consider to convert to Thunderbird in order to utilize various Folders. Right now all incoming email is either stored with a label or deleted. If one person stores an incoming email, e.g. a quote, in a folder, will this be a local folder ? Is the email still accessible by one of the other persons on a different computer ?

Local folders are accessible only to the one PC. I suggest setting folders within the IMAP account to ensure others can access them. IF folder created on-the-fly, others would need to be notified so they can then subscribe to the folder. OR, set the folders up at the outset for easier sharing without the need for routinely subscribing to new folders.
