On June 10, 2025, Windows installed an automatic update. This caused my Dell laptop to freeze every 2 to 3 minutes and I would reboot and start over. After 4 days of this trying every fix I could think of, I took it to the local computer repair shop. He said my video driver was bad. I think that was caused by an interaction with the Windows update. He fixed the video driver. Now the problem is I can increase the font size in Firefox fine, but I can't increase the tab and address bar sizes no matter what I do. I have been searching for days and trying everything suggested. Do I have to take it back to the repair shop or can you help me?

Sure. Is this font size unusually small, or it's normal, but you just want to increase it? Can you attach a screenshot?

Tabs, address bar, bookmark drop down menu unusually small. Increasing zoom does not help. See attached. Typically, these are at least twice this size.

The easiest way for you is to enter about:config in the address bar, find the layout.css.devPixelsPerPx preference and increase its value to 1.6.
