Hello, Background: I have an issue with my computer. It crashes often, and sometimes when it does and I try to reopen firefox, I'm told that "firefox is already open," and so I cannot. I've realized that I can use Terminal (/Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/firefox-bin -P) to delete extra profiles, which I think are created when the crash occurs. Once I'm able to reopen the browser, though, and I go through the trouble of signing in again, I often find that my browsing history/ bookmarks/ saved logins are out of date. Question: Firefox on my phone is logged into the same account as on my browser, but the login info/ bookmarks/ etc there are still up to date. I'm scared to sync the phone and browser, as I'm worried the browser will overwrite the phone and not vice versa. Is there a way to make it so that my browser is backed up from my phone?
