Attachments are sending wrong file but keeping the correct attached file name.

I compose a new message and add an attachment. A PDF document with name "mydoc.pdf". I click on the pdf and check that it is the correct one to send. I send the message and the receiver tells me they open the attached pdf document named" mydoc.pdf" and it is an unrelated document. I do not know how a different document is being attached and it keeps the same name I originally attached.

How many documents do you have with that same name, "mydoc.pdf"? The first thing to try is naming it uniquely. At the very least, you will be sure that the recipient is opening the correct file.
