Firefox certificate import issue

My team mate had installed Jmeter in our office PC and got the certificates imported to firefox and the tool was working as desired. Due to some issue with MS office the system was formatted and we had to reinstall all the tools again.

Now he has firefox 48 and when we try to import Jmeter certificate it throws an error "This personal certificate can't be installed because you do not own the corresponding private key which was created when the certificate was requested".

Please help. We have tried almost all of the resolutions we got by googling.
