Hello, I use IMAP accounts for my online emails. And like yearly I make a mass copy of emails from an online folder to a local folder. I used the function "copy to" in the context menu, alternatively moving the mouse together with ctrl for the copy option. In my current version (nearly new...) the copy process is completely in the background (no info on progress etc.). And also no info on failing. And it does fail, after copying a small portion of the selected emails.
I would be totally fine with a modal dialog process, that is thunderbird blocked until the process has finished. Is there an option? Or any other way to have a bit more control on the process status and success? Thank you

Hello, My TB account is setup properly and I am getting mails from my gmail account. But when I compose mail on my TB account I am not prompted for any address completion while composing the e-mail. On Thunderbird and my web gmail there are many e-mail ids in the inbox.
How do I make TB so that it prompts me with these e-mail ids which are in Inbox when I compose mail?

When I reply to messages or I'm up to forward a message, my signature is not inserted. I used TB for a very long time and I used this feature in the past extensively. I think, this must be an issue to TB .

There have been at least two add-ons that smoothly and efficiently accomplished this task in previous versions of Thunderbird, the most recent being 'Shrunked Image Resizer'. Both those add-ons became unavailable due to updates to T-bird. Please Please allow compatibility with an add-on that does this. It is a make-or-break issue for me. Thank you.

I'm getting low disk space available messages on my Windows 10 Pro PC.
Wiztree (see attached image) is showing 128gb in my imap.gmail.com folder.
Some time ago I started to get fairly regular popups about compacting my folders, which seemed to take an eternity without seeming to achieve too much, and I noticed that every time the TB application was shut down and restarted, the Inbox would show mails starting from 9/5/2022 every time (see attachment) and then gradually start to slowly load all more recent mails. In the lower left of application, is the message "Downloading message xxx of xx,xxx in Inbox" and it slowly counts away.
Around this time I had ine excess of 40,000 messages (many with attachments) and I began deleting all the larger attachment emails, and slowly started to cull older emails to where I now have 14,000.
The disk useage appears to have worsened over the past few months.
I'm thinking I have some sort of corruption in the database??
Please advise as to best way forward.

Please verify that your Outgoing server (SMTP) settings are correct and try again. I checked my outgoing SMTP settings and they are all what they are supposed to be. Note** when I first installed Mozilla everything worked fine. Now I can not receive or send out emails.
