Howdy! Here are the details noted in my question.

Your browser is being managed by your organization. Policy Name Policy Value Certificates ImportEnterpriseRoots true

I have Firefox Settings UNCHECKED to open previous windows and tabs, yet it very often tells me it's having trouble opening previous windows and tabs.

I want it to quit trying to open previous windows and tabs on this computer. How can I do this?

Today (06/12/2025) upon opening a new tab, Firefox slid the new option of uploading a custom picture to apply to the background. Tried the new feature, now I can not find the setting that allows me to change the picture. I read the thread "Customize your wallpapers". The instructions are as follows; You can personalize your Firefox New Tab page by adding one of the available wallpapers. Follow these steps:

  1. In the right corner of the New Tab page, click the gear IG settings icon.
  2. In the customization panel, under the Wallpapers section, you will see different categories like Solid colors, Abstract and Photographs.

       Click the category you prefer. For example, selecting Abstract will show a variety of abstract designs. 

The problem I have is the customization panel is no where to be seen, I have click on EVERYTHING possible, it is not in my settings, why? How do find this?

How do I confirm that the AI that was recently put into the browser is not working? I want nothing to do with this technology, if it is not able to be disabled then I will switch browsers.

Mon. 11/10/25 -- Good evening. Periodically, the Wallpaper option that's available when you have a new tab opened is NOT THERE. I've used your backgrounds and sometimes my own. But out of the blue, a new tab will have no background picture and when I use the pencil to open the menu, there are no wallpapers showing.

I don't see a reason for this, particularly since I haven't changed anything and no one else has access. This is a Dell Desktop, XPS 8960, fully loaded, enough of everything and running on Win 11.

So - are there limits to the graphic size used for a background? Would this be caused by a FF update? So many questions, and thanks for answering them.

Started yesterday, whenever I close out Firefox it switches my search engine from Kagi back to Google. Go into settings, change back to Kagi. It's reset to Google as soon as I close Firefox again.

I had to wipe clean my iMac today due to some access issue. Everything was gone !!! I had to re-install Firefox as the default browser. Now I want MarketWatch to open on Firefox every time I open the Firefox browser. Please send step-by-step instruction to this 82 yrs old lady user.

Also, I had Mozilla VPN. Please show me how to re-install/download/put back this service so that I can park it on the tool bar and choose to use it at will.

Please keep your instruction very human friendly. I don't comprehend well the "digital lingo".

In my settings if have set quant as my search engine.

But since today whenever I open my Firefox browser on iOS the search engine is switched back to google

When I click the „use alternative search engine: quant“ icon it works using quant as expected.

I am using Firefox 144.1 (62735)

after a flooop update there is an annoying side bar. I want to remove it but there is no information on how to do it! can someone please help me figure this out. When I went to Flooop , it just rambled on about firefox, I am using Floop!!!! Help me if you can, thank you.

Why there is no option to use/configure a local running ai chatbot in the "Choose an AI chatbot to use in the Firefox" sidebar? Or does it exists and I didnt see it?

I know his sounds stupid, but I can't find the settings button on my browser. The browser is fully up to date (updating is automatic). I don't understand what the problem is. I ended up on this help screen from the settings listed in the My Account page. Is this the only one? Or is there another settings page & button somewhere else in the browser. Your advice and information will be appreciated. Thanx.
