Hi!

I don't understand. Firefox is eating up memory again in the latest versions, and on top of that, it's the GPU on my PC.

4GB for the app and up to 8GB.

Are you mining Bitcoin on my machine?

What are you doing?

When i logged into a privacy session on a website the account did not automatically log out when i closed the session. I checked again by purposefully ensuring i closed all privacy windows but when i went back to the sight i was still logged in. I had to specifically log out the account.

Has something changed with the setting? This was one of the features that i liked. I don't want to find a new browser because what i expect is no longer happening.

I would like to remove the search options from the address bar because I preferred the old setup with a separate search window (and the address bar was just unable to perform searches). How can I set this up?

It displays fine in Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. My main browser is Firefox. Is there something wrong with my Firefox settings? firefox 147.0.3 64Bit

Why is firefox blocking the paypal popup??? I've tried all the solutions to get it to work, but it still does not work.

Went into Settings/Privacy & Security/Permissions, Block pop-ups and third-party redirects is selected, but I've added http://paypal.com and https://paypal.com to the exceptions

Settings that I've tried to change so far and that didn't help: Hardware acceleration - disable dom.event.clipboardevents.enabled webgl.all-angle-options webgl.enable-privileged-extensions webgl.force-enabled

I like Firefox with one exception. The right-click print feature is missing in the drop-down menu. I can print from the Application Menu but the 'print' feature is missing using the mouse right-click menu. The right-click feature does work using other browsers. hi there, I'm using FF147.0.3 on a windows 11 version 25H2 laptop. I use google as my default search engine. When I open a new tab the google search page opens as usual. But now all of a sudden as soon as I start typing, search suggestions are appearing in the address box and not in the main google search page bar.

I've tried "settings-search-address bar" and turned off all features but that had no effect on the problem. I've reset the laptop several times but the issue still remains.

This problem is really annoying so any help would be great. Cheers Jeff

I have a two monitor setup. Since I installed the new AMD driver (26.1.1), sometimes when I play a game on my main monitor, and watch stream on Twitch in Firefox on my second monitor, it can cause the PC to freeze completely. I hear the sound, but the image is stuck.

I tried to disable the hardware acceleration in Firefox, and it seemed like a good solution. But because of that (which is its function), sites became laggy.

Is this a Firefox, or an AMD issue? Or Windows (I'm on Windows 11 25H2)? I will try to install an older AMD driver, but honestly streams had became laggy before the driver update for me.

Firefox is my default browser, but often shows my location wrong in my home location. Google chrome and maps shows it correctly. Please tell me where firefox thinks I am and how I might correct it.

bonjour , j'ai un problème avec le corecteur d'orthographe de firefox, la case Vérifier l’orthographe pendant la saisie est coché et quand j'écris pratiquement tous les mots sont surlignés en rouge et quand je clic droit sur un mot çela me donne une solution farfelue , par exemple si je clic sur pratiquement cela me propose : prearrangement merci de votre aide cordialement

I've been searching for three days now for a solution that will work to restore my profile from a crashed windows-7 machine to my new windows-11. Nothing listed in any forum or help desk works as described. I used to be able to just rename the folder to the exact file name on the new PC, but windows 11 won't let me do anything. It always needs admin permissions and even after I activated the admin account and assigned a password, I still cannot copy to the folder or rename the folder. Every attempt to do this on W-11 fails. It shouldn't be that hard and I'm tired of wasting days playing with this. I have important bookmarks, passwords etc. I want restored, and I need help. Nobody wants to pick up a phone anymore to assist!

I have never used "sync" because I have multiple PCs and each used for different applications and yes some go back to W-7, the operating system that actually worked well. Each PC has Firefox and a distinct bookmark file.

I went to "about:profiles" and created a new profile thinking I could copy to the new folder, but when i switched profiles I couldn't get back to the original default! HELP!

firefox on mac seems entirely broken.

in about:profiles I see 1 profile (with custom name). after restart the profile is still there, but all settings lost( Passwords, links, addons )

the same as happened before: I restarted the computer for update. than there were multiple profiles in about data. i got cunfused an in the end i deleted firefox entirely and reinstalled.
