I don't know where to write this. Hello everyone, Firefox has an auto-fill feature for cards. I wanted to enter all my cards. I enter my card, and it comes to the expiration date. The card says 10/37, but in Firefox the maximum is 35. Alfa Bank Russia has started issuing cards that are valid for 12 years, I don't know if it's to save money or not. What should I do, wait 2 years? Or has a similar question already been asked here and will it be fixed soon?

I am trying to make the Firefox window move behind when I middle click but it instead creates a new tab. It work on any other application window such as Chrome. How do I disable the middle button from opening a new tab and also make it to go behind the window when it is clicked. I have already tried putting browser.tabs.opentabfor.middleclick and middle.mouse,openNewWindow and other ones to false. Still no fix.

I am having a problem saving my work through a portal I am using for work on Firefox.

While trying to fix this problem, I went to Firefox Settings and noticed the following hyperlinked text: "Your browser is being managed by your organization." This is my personal computer, so I don't know what organization it may be referring to.

Clicking on it brings me to a new tab called "Enterprise Policies". In that tab is a list called "Active" with two columns: Policy Name and Policy Value. The only item listed is "DisableAppUpdate" with the value "true". This may be the cause of my original problem, but in any case, I want to be able to run updates!

I am using Firefox 137.0.1 (64-bit) on a Pop_OS system.

How do I turn off "DisableAppUpdate" and run updates?

I was trying to go to ssa.gov, today, and hit the button to login. When I did that, I got a 400 page saying: Bad Request

Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit.

I have done this before, and it worked. To test if it was a problem with the web page or the browser, I did it from another browser (Brave), and it loaded fine. Is Firefox sending a bad request? Is this something you can fix.

I am using Mozilla Firefox for Linux Mint 137.0.1 (64 bit).

Japanese characters usually do not render.

I can reproduce this issue by:

• going to the Wikipedia page for the katakana Unicode block.
• going to any YouTube comment with Japanese text.
• hovering over the screenshot of the YouTube comment so that the tooltip containing the name of the file is shown.

On YouTube the text renders only if 1.27916663885116563rem <= font-size <= 1.92083328962326036rem. Increasing `gfx.font_rendering.fontconfig.max_generic_substitutions` from 3 to 99 allows some punctuation to render and makes the text take up horizontal space. Further increase of the value to 999 causes the interpunct to render in the Wikipedia page.

I prefer Firefox to Microsoft Edge - but when I click Read more to continue reading an article in the same page I am on - it opens a new blank tab. then I have to go back to where I wanted to read more - and it is there. But why is it opening a blank page first? i tried changing settings but there is no "Open link in target" - there is just an option to open a new window or tab - when all I want to do is see the rest of the article. it works fine in MS Edge - but as i said, I prefer FireFox. is there a way to fix this?

I've been trying to set up 2fA on my firefox account, the whole process seems to work, I downloaded the backup codes and entered one to confirm and then got confirmation that 2FA was enabled (see screenshot). However, after reloading the page 2fA is shown as being disabled and indeed if I try to log out then in again I'm not asked for a code. I've tried this a couple of times now and it does the same every time. The auth app I'm using is Aegis.

Does anyone knows why this is happening ? Thanks.

[Edit: I just saw that after each time I tried to set it up, in "recent account activity" I add an error saying "Two-step authentication failed" which doesn't really makes sense...]

I created an account on an old PC, in the account it is visible as kos-work-note, now I am on a new kos-ltop, and there is no data at all in the browser, why is that?

I have accounts that will not work because they cannot access my location, My computer says all access is allowed, so is there something in Firefox that blocks my location?

Recently I have noticed 'Your browser is being managed by your organization. - That being ImportEnterpriseRoots' appearing in settings. I have seen this mentioned by others but as of yet I cannot see if it has been sorted yet. I have uninstalled and it went away, but it has since returned the following day. I Do not have any other anti-virus on this laptop other than Windows Defender so it cannot be that. I will not be using Firefox as default until this is gone, or at the very least know that its safe.

suddenly my work account at https://outlook.live.com is a completely white screen.

access to other instances of this account (Onedrive, filesharing etc) are fine. Email account works on phone, so no problem with log-in
