My husband and I both use Firefox as our default browser. His macbook air did an auto update of his firefox and now he has no bookmarks, no search history and none of his many open windows are there. He has to file his timesheets tonight so we can get paid in a month's time. What help can you offer? IRecently started using firefox/mozilla exclusively on my mobile phone and HP laptop.

I have an AT&T yahoo email account which I have had for 20 years.

No problem on my mobile, but my email history wont re-sync on my HP laptop at this time, but does display as historically synced, BUT ONLY TO May 4, 2024 (for an unknown reason.)

I currently get to AT&T yahoo email account using:

• https://mail.yahoo.com/n/inbox/priority?.src=ym&reason=myc&accountIds=2
• Mozilla or Firefox Username: [edited] @snet.net,_
• Mozilla or Firefox Display name: [edited]
• Mozilla or Filefox Password: [edited]

Can you please help me with why the email account won't e-ync on the HP Laptopeven though I am logged in? There is no such problem with gmail.

I accidentally disliked a thought-provoking story which involved the couple who died in the Lisbon funicular crash (as of Saturday 6th September 2025), which I think was addressed by The Independent.

Is it possible to reverse the dislike? The story does not seem to appear again, at least from what I have seen. Although the dislike was accidental, I felt that having the story disliked would indicate I would not be interested in thought-provoking stories about those who have died, even though these stories should be important to show.

I am definitely not interested in bells and whistles. Just want basic program. The new update ate my current settings and book marks. Did not create a backfile with my profile. Your help process sucks big time. Do you even do beta testing before you send them out?

I reinstalled windows, installed firefox and signed in but my bookmarks (toolbar) have not sync'd, I have bookmarks toolbar set to always show, and my android phone has firefox installed and the bookmarks are there, they just will not sync to my pc, whats up?

Today randomly i noticed that my bookmark bar is waaay shorter out of the blue, i didn't change or adjust anything, all i do is the updates from mozilla that's all, it was all music it really saddens me because atm it's lost forever, i hope somebody can help me (i don't know since when it disappered i literally just noticed it right now ...)

I rebooted and launched FF, I was asked if I wanted to Refresh. Naturally I declined because I'm not an idiot. Now all my addons and passwords are gone. I would love to have them back since I never asked for them to be deleted. I don't have an "Old Firefox Data" or whatever folder on my desktop, would have been cool for them to leave that there when they clobbered years of data and customization because Firefox thinks they should have more control over my PC than I do, but they didn't. Is there any way to get these back?

I have just installed firefox on my new computer. I had firefox on my old computer and laptop that are both still running. It has pulled in a list of mostly obsolete accounts and passwords which are listed when I select "passwords" I did not ask firefox to do this. why has it done this. what else may it have done that I don't know about

Hi I have lost all my browsing history and nothing I browse is saved. Also all my bookmarks have disappeared and I can't save anything even clicking on the star doesn't do anything I have quite a bit of stuff bookmarked, can you help? The browsing history and my bookmarks seemed to disappear at the same time.

I updated Firefox and all my plugins except for Grammarly were deleted, I saw another post talking about going into profile folder but I couldn't find anything about that

I updated firefox, and all my addons and sign ins are gone now. Search history and tabs remained intact. It also created a folder on my desktop, but I'm not sure how do I "extract" my old data from it.

Is there a Firefox add-on that will allow me to download YouTube videos onto my MacMini?

I tried Video DownloadHelper and YouTube Video Downloader and didn't see any action.

Do I need to setup settings a certain way to make it work?

What are the steps to make it work?
