Hi mikeseptak,
Are you using the new or the old sync?
The new sync should not do this. The old sync will do this if it has not synced yet. If you are looking for the logs they will be in "about:sync-logs" or listed on the "about:support" page when put in the url of the browser.
Most sync issues are resolved by disconnecting the account and reconnecting the account. If you are afraid of losing data, you can make a copy of the profile folder, and add overwrite a new profile folder where sync is set up from.
This is a last resort: delete places.sqlite, restart Firefox, and re-set up Sync.
The profile folder will be located:
Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder
If you're using Firefox 30 (the pre-release Nightly) you would be using the new Sync. Anything earlier would be on the old Sync. There is no user option for which version you use.
i have a log file that i wanted to put up so you could see it but theres no way for me to put the file up. Im on firefox 27 right now. When I disconnect the account and reconnect the account it never finishes the sync. The logs for the last 6 syncs are error files. The sync icon has the light going around but it will do that for forever.
You can use website like these to upload the log file:

Here's the part where things went wrong.

See how it is in the Firefox SafeMode > Firefox Safe Mode
Mike they were experiencing issues that day. The twitter server feed for 3/12/14 can be seen here https://twitter.com/mozservices It will work normally.
Can tell if this problem is fixed. I have 4 devices hooked up to my sync two computers one tablet and my phone. I have 90 tabs on the phone and maybe 50 between the rest. I tried to sync them all but i don't see tabs from all the devices and it doesn't update which tabs are open on a device. Also when im on my laptop and i go to tabs from other devices it will list the tabs from my laptop and the other computer but not my phone or the tablet. Resetting friefox and running without add ons doesnt fix
