How do I clear login information for 1 site?
I have 1 site that I'm trying to change my login information for, and it won't change. I do NOT want to delete all cookies for all sites; just that one. How do I find it to change it?

Did you have Firefox save the login? If so, you can clear that on the Options page here:
"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options
In the left column, click Security. Then on the right side, find the "Saved Logins" button.
If it's just a cookie, there is a way to delete one site's cookies. For example, while viewing a page on the site, try either:
- right-click (on Mac Ctrl+click) a blank area of the page and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
- (menu bar) Tools > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
- click the padlock or "i" icon in the address bar, then the ">" button, then More Information, and finally the "View Cookies" button
In the dialog that opens, the current site should be pre-filled in the search box at the top of the dialog so you can remove that site's cookies individually.
Then try reloading the page and presumably it will ask you to log in. Does that help?

Okay! It worked half-way. I did get rid of it, but now Firefox won't save my new login. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeks!
Hmm, I'm not sure why that would be. Do you mean there's no key icon to the left of the address you could click to save the password? I'm not sure how to get it back. Does it make any difference to completely exit out of Firefox and then start it up again and return to the site and log in?
No, exiting and re-entering didn't do anything. It's like FIrefox just plain forgot about the website and now asks me for both username and password; won't save it! My username does appear in a drop-down box, but can't save the password like normal. Hmmmmmmmm...
Never mind ... after dickering around, I found that one of the pages was an exception for remembering the password ... because it asks for my username/password, then the next page another password. The second one I didn't want Firefox to remember ... just the first one. Anyway, I figured it out!!!! Thanks for your help, jscher2000!
