I have tried everything I read in your "help" pages but no matter how I set up Thunderbird for Email I cannot get it to send. I recently had to purchase a new computer that has Windows 11. Is Thunderbird unable to work with Windows 11? I'm so frustrated at this point & need HELP. For your information the SMTP is set up as: description: [edited email from public] @skybeam.com Server Name: securemail.risebroadband.net Port: 465 (I've tried 587 but it doesn't make a difference) User: My Email Address Authentication: Normal Password Connection Security SSL/TLS

Note: I've checked Thunderbird & the passwords on both Incoming & Outgoing is correct.

using thunderbird, cannot send some emails- error message unablr to authenticate outgoing server (SMTP) mail.waitrose.com. I am receiving emails normally and can reply to sent emails.

I used to have Address book on my menu bar and could right click on a mailing list and send a BCC email to all. In 102.3, the address book is now in a tab to the left of the window, and I cannot click to open an email to all. I cannot select, and copy all addresses in the list and copy to a new mail BCC field.. How can I now send an email to all in a mailing list? It used to be so simple! John

What are the correct settings for email accounts in Thunderbird? On my new computer my accounts were setup in imap with SSL - but then changed to TLS, but I continually get this message " Non-overridable TLS error occurred. Handshake error or probably the TLS version or certificate used by server imap.actrix.co.nz is incompatible." I have a Dell Vostro 5620 laptop with Windows 11Pro. For my email accounts which settings should be correct for incoming and outgoing? Thanks - Graeme

When message come to me some of them get sent to the Spam folder. I have some message filters that I run and it sets the Junk mark to Not Junk and moves them to the Inbox. I see them moving to the Inbox for a few seconds and them they pop back up in the Spam folder. How can I resolve this issue?

I have 2 email accounts on Thunderbird, a Yahoo account and a GMAIL account. Whenever I receive an email on either account, it appears as an email on BOTH accounts. This results in a completely duplicate list of emails on both accounts. My intention is for incoming emails to appear only on the account to which they were sent. How do I accomplish that? I used to backup firefox & thunderbird profile using MozBackup and it saved it as a pcv. When my computer crashed I need to get another motherboard & hard drive and now I seem not to be able to restore my profile using Mozbackup. It says everything was ok but has not restored profile in thunderbird. Can anyone help as there are important emails I need to reply to and with out my old profile I cannot reply.

Thunderbird will not accept my reset passwords and there is no method to reset the passwords. I have tried 5 times, no help.

I'm trying to export my Thunderbird addressbook using the export function. I go to "address book"->"tools"->"export" and I get "Export Export accounts, messages, address books, and settings to a ZIP file. If your current profile is larger than 2GB, we suggest you back it up by yourself." Then it wants to export the whole thing as a Thunderbird Profile with no other choices showing. I can't seem to export the "address book" to the "csv" format which I used to be able to. Any ideas?

 secondly, i also observed  that all my messages goes to people"s junk email instead of their  inbox .
