Dear sir, madam, I have a Thunderbird account. I have access to it and to the menu, but I have to put a password in to receive my new emails. I don't know my password and have tried really everything that is suggested on your website to get my password, renew it, access a reboot-option etc: nothing works - I still keep getting a window where I am asked to put in the password for my account. Please help me fix this, thank you in advance, greetings, M vd vegt

My Thunderbird password has been compromised and I've been trying to create a new password for my email inbox. I've followed all the guides but just can't seem to do this!! My email location does not appear in 'saved passwords' which doesn't seem to be helping...please help!!

I used to be able to print my usernames and password list. I can only see it in an abbreviated form using the latest Thunderbird revision (with Microsoft). Any suggestions?

I have a new phone, and I can't get my email on it without the email password. I've had the account so long I can't remember the password; Thunderbird just retrieves my email. Now I want it on the phone. Is there a way to get my password out of thunderbird so I can put it in my phone?

I am on a new install of windows 11 (from new windows 10). I can log into Gmail on the browser(Firefox) fine. I set allowing cookis and all the other stuff I could find but I can NOT get gmail to work.

For some idiotic reason Thunderbird is constantly creating a folder called SPAM. I want this off and never to reappear, so could someone explain how to do this. I have turned of unable adaptive junk mail and turn of the destination and retention.

This behavior is new, completely unnecessary.

Get rid of this new feature, it is not helpful

I have tried for years to get my main email address to work in thunderbird. I have 3 email accounts, two work great but my main one creber887@sbcglobal.net just keeps giving me server errors. I have no problems in firefox on yahoo. It is frustrating. It happens in windows and linux. Please help. Clark Creber

Hi, I did put a sender of a daily newsletter in the address book. I did use "Mark as Not Junk" with every newsletter of that sender in the last couple of months. . But Thunderbird always and every day lists the newsletter as Junk. (the sender is Smithsonian Magazine) So training the Junk filter does not work. How to change this failure of Thunderbird? bold textFor the second time, T-Bird is demanding a PW for my mail,or at least it seems to be T-Bird. I can access my mail via my Edge Browser but I cannot get beyond the demand for a PW that I have not assigned!

We have 2 computers set up with Mozilla Thunderbird. On one of the 2, the outbound password was inadvertently changed. on the other of the 2, the outbound email works fine.

On the 1 the password was lost, I saw an option to view the password. I'd like to do that on the 1 that DOES work so I can re-enter the proper password.

After recent update, TB seems to have created an extra account. My account has name <myemajl> and ends in ".com". New acct has same name but ens in .com_2. That's why I think TB created it. Which do I delete and how

I upgraded my Mac OS from Ventura to Sonoma. Now I can't copy and paste bank receipts form email. It seems to have become incripted and I get only question marks inside squares. I could copying paste in Ventura. If I sign in and read email on my Comcast server, I can copy and paste from those emails. Can this problem be corrected on Thunderbird.

I've been using Thunderbird for a long time. I presently have version 115.4.3

I have always had to enter my pw to receive emails, and always have to enter it again to send emails. Why do I have to enter it twice?

Every other email client I have ever used only requires I enter it once.

I don't want to use Thunderbird to save my passwords.
