Hi Thunderbird,
in my office I am forced to use Outlook and so I am used to the keyboard shortcuts defined in Outlook.
One of the often used keyboard shortcuts is CTRL+SHIFT+M to start the writing of a new mail.
In Thunderbird this shortcut seems to be hard-coded to 'Move/Copy message to previous target folder Again' which is basically not a bad function, if someone is used to it.
But as a user who loves keyboard shortcuts I am sometimes struggling with this feature as Thunderbird reminds the last folder even over a restart of Thunderbird!
So it can be that I haven't used Thunderbird for a week and then want to write a mail and press automatically CTRL+SHIFT+M and then a mail is moved to a folder I cannot remember.
This behavior is very annoying!
1. Is there any way to change the keyboard shortcut?
2. If this keyboard shortcut cannot be changed or removed it should only work if a user already has moved a file in the current session of Thunderbird. The memory function over different Thunderbird sessions of this keyboard shortcut is not helpful at all.
3. Is there a way to show the previous target folder in Thunderbird? This would at least reduce the search for unwanted moving of mails.
Waiting and hoping for a reply
Dieter
