Hey all, here's my conundrum:I have tbird on my phone, 12 different email addys all told. Imagine if you can my dismay at finding no passwords transferred using that quick transfer thing. Please tell me there is a way to fix this without having to manually re-enter every dang pass... Thanks

I love Thunderbird, but I have recently moved to use a Android device for most of my work, and despite that there is now Thunderbird for Android, I found that there is a feature I really need but it is not working there: moving mails across different accounts. I work daily with four different accounts and sometimes I need to move some threads from to another. I had to move to a different email reader because of that, but I would really love to come back to Thunderbird.

None of the hekp found answers the questiin. Any sent email do not show in the folder. There seems to be no route to repair or otherwise corect the issue. Please advise with current accurate guidance

Yesterday sometime I accidentally deleted my calendar program and it's a killer I need it bad and if I can't get it I need a simple easy to use replacement it's not asking me a hundred questions just because I want to keep somebody's phone number but what I really want to do is try and find the program a little more before I give up where do deleted products go?

My contract with Plusnet is due to expire so I renewed it. P would not accept my password as it did not meet their standards. I added a symbol but now I am unable to sign in to Thunderbird. I have checked all my settings which have not changed except the password but still I cannot sign in to get emails. Can sks please explain purpose of local folders? I have 2 accounts with their own sets of folders, why do I need Local Folders as well? Desktop win 10 64 bit system.

I would like to keep using imap (because directory synchronization and such) instead of pop, yet I also want to configure thunderbird to delete (expunge) emails from the server after a certain number of days while keeping them intact offline. The reason for this is that I want to keep an offline only archive because it is more secure.

I currently only see options to delete everywhere after N days or delete locally after N days, but I want to keep local and delete from the server. It looks like the server software my email provider uses doesn't have a setting for it either, so doing this in thunderbird is my best chance of getting ut done.
