For NO known reason TB had to be restarted. Opened, BUT only one folder, NOT the Inbox, is displayed. Cannot see NOR access the Inbox, nor any folder (none displayed). Restarting TB produces the same result every time.
If searched any - all TB headers / options. HELP & support yield no clue(s) nor solution(s).

Hello, For some reason, over the past couple of months I have been searching for varied emails and they are missing! At one point, I found that some had been put in an archive folder (that I did NOT set up) and they were recent emails. I removed them from the folder, placed them back in the regular inbox and deleted that folder. When I could not find another very important series of emails today, after searching numerous ways, I looked in the server and missing emails are there. I did look at a number of email threads where other people reported similar problems... but couldn't figure out what applied to my situation and how to fix this. To show a specific example, I attached two images ... the first is my Thunderbird email account that shows one Email only on Feb 18, 2024. The Juno server image shows 7 emails on that same date, four which were important contracts that were sent to me. Can you please help me locate and retrieve these and other missing emails? Thunderbird auto updated to 115.10.1 and now it is behaving strangely.
1. The Message Filter has "Junk" at the bottom of the list of filters and anything that is not sent to a folder gets sent to the Junk folder. Instead all the junk is going to the Inbox.
2. Folders that have new email show up in blue highlighted folder as they should. But if I select those emails and read them, they remain highlighted but without the blue color.
3. Sometimes when I delete an email after reading, it deletes for a moment and then returns to the folder as unread. Multiple attempts to delete fail.
I have thunderbird email. If I start an email and save it, I can't find it. There is no drafts listed on the side bar only inbox and trash. thx

Already invested time creating some html code for email signature on thunderbird. Wanted to create something prepared for dark modes on IOS. Everything was fine until I detected on IOS (dark mode)some white rectangles outside my email signature code. It´s a problem that I cannot solve because it´s outside my code, and I´m wondering if you are already aware of this issue.

I can send mails using thunderbird but not receive them; For some it seems the other way round. and my ruminations as to possible root causes may be way off I have two external mail accounts, one is just forwarding to the next and that was the address the inbox of which I presumed was being collected by firefox
Without having done any active change: For some time TB seems to not have passed on mails from my alternative mail account. I cannot seem to find the previously functioning gmx account in my settings.
For two days now I do not receive any mails at all. Apparently I can send them, though.
I restarted the programme and tried in safe mode, to no avail.

I wrote my own POP3 server and it largely seems to work apart from when Thunderbird tries to RETR the email messages at which point I get the error "Unable to write the email to the mailbox. Make sure the file system allows you write privileges, and you have enough disk space to copy the mailbox.".
If I drag a saved version of that same email that fails to be retrieved into Thunderbird , it can write it to the Inbox without issue. That means Thunderbird has permission to write to the Inbox file and so it is not a permission issue and there is enough space. I feel like it is more likely to be something I am doing wrong in my protocol implementation. For example, could I get this error if I misrepresented the octet count? Also I notice that even though my CAPA reply does not include UIDL, Thunderbird still seems to send that request and should get the response "-ERR Unknown command".

I have been using Thunderbird for years. Always updated to the latest version. My current Thunderbird addresses are setup through Hostgator hosting and I've rarely had an issue. I recently set up a Zoho email address and added it to my Thunderbird platform so I can send and receive emails there. Problem is, when I send a test from one of my long time Thunderbird emails to the new email that goes through Zoho, it never shows up in my Thunderbird inbox. Never shows up in my Zoho inbox either. I can send from the new Zoho email to one of my established emails no problem using Thunderbird. But it doesn't work the other way around. I've checked everything I can think of--IMAP server settings, SMTP settings, added MX records, you name it. Not sure where the hang up is. Hopefully someone can help, thanks.

One thing I do have occasional problems with concerns searching and using tags I hope I am wrong, but when I search for one or several emails I usually find them, but still have no idea of where they are located. The same applies to the very handy tags which I also gratefully use. I filter mails to appr 30 folders and archive them yearly, so actually finding an email can take some time. The path to the folder is not necessary - just the name of the folder would be enough to pinpoint it

When send a calendar event to an Attendee list I get an email notification if they've accepted or declined but I cannot see the status in the actual event. I also cannot manually update the attendee status. I should be able to see attendee status in the event shouldn't I?
