In or around TB 91.3.1 double-clicking on an event, you get a dialog box such as the attached. In order to edit the event, you have to hit the Edit button. In the past, TB would just open the event and allow you to edit it. If the event was recurring then, and only then, would a small dialog box come up to ask if you were editing just this event or all events. I see no advantage to this extra dialog box, especially for one-time-only events. It's just another unnecessary click of the mouse.

TB 102.5.1 (64-Bit), Windows 10 When I want to add a new date or change an existing one, the window does not pop up. However, hovering over the TB taskbar icon, I can see the window as a thumbnail. Very annoying bug, I believe was introduced with the 102.5.1 release.

I can no longer see the .ics files that were once used. There are some sqlite files but they are unintelligible to me.

I would like to be able to read calendar entries, without modifying anything.

Would someone please point me toward any documentation, or advice.

Have just been updated to v102.2.2 and now my events are invisible in the weekly calendar view, though they are visible in the multiweek view. Also reminders are not being actioned.

Can anyone solve this please?

I'm using Windows 11 on a Dell Inspiron.

I am using Thunderbird Supernova and am pretty happy with it. However, I cannot figure out how to specify a different time zone than the system timezone when creating an event. For example, if I just bought a flight that departs at 4PM London time and I am in Miami when creating the event, how can I create this event without having to convert that time to my current time?

Surely this is possible but I can't figure out how. Thanks for any help!

My OS is Linux Mint 20.3 Una base: Ubuntu 20.04 focal Thunderbird version 102.4.2 (64-bit) "Today" marker does not advance to current calendar day after midnight of the previous calendar day in monthly view. The monthly view is the only view I use. If the < Today > link at the top of the calendar is mouse-clicked, it does not advance to the current day but remains on the previous day. To advance the day marker I have to click either "<" for previous month or ">" for the next month and then click Today. At that point the calendar will return to the current month and highlight the current day. This problem was also present on a previous version of LM (18.3) My add-ons are: Cardbook v. 83.6 ConfirmBeforeDelete v. 1.7.0 Lightening Calendar Tabs v. 2.8 Provider for CalDAV & CardDAV v. 4.3 TaskviewFlexLayout v. 62.9

There are two disabled extensions which could be uninstalled as they have been disable "since dirt was young,": TabAddressBook ToDo.txt Both were automatically disabled by Thunderbird due to incompatibility and I have no further need for them The active extensions are used with regularlity. This is a "livible" problem but but an irritation. Searches with multiple search engines have turned up nothing on this issue since 2020 and/or v. 68 of Tbird. Thank you in advance for any assistance you may provide on this issue. Mozilla software has bee my default software of choice, also "since dirt was young," and for what it's worth (which is very little) I check viable alternatives virtually every six months to see what your "competition" has to offer. In every version from 118 beta to the latest, the Calendar View Events filter option is limited to max 1 year. In previous versions, there was a filter option to view All events. I need this option in filter to be re-instated because 1 year is not enough. I want to see all events to manage my calendar more effectively.

Dear all, I have a couple of calendars on the disk as network calendars (file:///...ics) with offline support, and I just realized that I cannot delete any event. These calendars are not read-only, I can see the option delete, both with right-click on the event and double-click to edit the event, but after pressing delete, the event remains on the calendar. Just pressing the delete button on the keyboard after selecting the event has the same behaviour. If I try shift the events from one calendar to the other, they do appear in the new calendar, but they do not disappear from the old. I have restarted Thunderbird, and also tried this on another computer with the same results. Both szstems are Windows 11, Th underbird 115.10.1 I would be very grateful for any suggestions

 This is really weird, because TB shouldn't have made any changes whilst not running. I think it's erroneously asking to submit its older cached state of the server to the server instead of merely pulling from the server, despite there being no *user* made changes locally. I don't want it to do this, because I'm scared that one day I'll eventually click "Submit" instead of "Discard".

Running Thunderbird 115.8.0 (64 bit) on Windows 11.

Until recently all was working well accessing an outlook.com calendar (on server outlook.office365.com) using tb-sync and Provider for Exchange ActiveSync (latest versions).

Now I get the following error: "Could not authenticate, check username and password (HTTP Error 401)." (Meanwhile email is working fine with the same credentials).

I then tried using the new Thunderbird non-add-on exchange calendar integration, with identical results.

I then deleted all the cached outlook passwords (settings -> Privacy and Security -> Passwords -> Saved Passwords) and tried again, with identical results.

Interestingly, after deleting the passwords, closing and reopening Thunderbird, it successfully downloaded new emails from outlook.com (in spite of supposedly not having the passwords).

Help please.

Hello, In Thunderbird (Vers. 115.9, OS Linux Zorin OS 17) I can integrate a calendar from a Mailbox.org account as described here(https://kb.mailbox.org/de/privat/adressbuch-und-kalender/caldav-clients-outlook-thunderbird-macos-evolution-kontact/). Everything works fine. If I now want to import a 2nd calendar from another mailbox.org account, this does not work. I can go through the process normally, but the 2nd calendar is not displayed. Does anyone have the same problem? It can't be that Thunderbird is not able to integrate 2 calendars ? Many thanks for your help

This morning when I opened Thunderbird all entries that have other participants invited have disappeared. The entries without other participants are still there. I am not aware of an update. I can create new events and invite people. It seems the data is just gone somehow, and I somehow need it back.

I use Thunderbird 102.2.2 in Ubuntu 22.04.

Since I updated from Ubuntu 20.04, I have an issue with the calendar. I use Google Calendar for synchronization with other devices. It works well overall, just some events that I have in Google Calendar don't show up in Thunderbird.

I have tried synchronizing manually without success. It happens just with the birthdays, maybe because they are repeating events from year to year, I am not sure.

What can I do to fix this issue?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Events on external calendar created before 102 update all show, or did, I assume to due to Offline Support, but updates, changes, new events added since were not syncing, and after Unsubscribing and attempting to re-add the ext. calendar, Thunderbird is not able to 'find' the calendar at all, I just get a spinning ball.

The same external calendar is successfully being found and updated by another service. I use a Mac.

How can the Lightning mini-calendar (upper left) be made to show multiple months (like a whole quarter) Outlook can do this, has for many years. If there is a setting, I cannot find it. Is there an add-on?

I am using Thunderbird Lightening Calendar on MacBook Air. First it worked fine but now when I click on INVITE ATTENDEES the usual box to add invitees is hidden or not displayed. see attached image

Hi, since updating to the latest Thunderbird (115.3.1 (64-bit)), my calendar invites are not getting sent out. I can make a new calendar event, and input all the info. Then I select 'invite attendees', and put in emails there. It is a little odd because my email is on the top, and then when I enter a second email below it it fills out two lines with the same email address. I can fix it, then hit "ok" and then "send and close". The people I invited never get emails. For some reason I automatically get an "accepted" email for myself in my email inbox, but nobody else gets an email.
