I have Thunderbird on two PCs. Thunderbird stopped working on my older PC, Lenovo Z40, Windows 10. I uninstalled Thunderbird on that PC and tried to reinstall. I have downloaded the set up file, but when I open it tells me I need a Microsoft safe app and sends me to Edge browser. I looked at help website but can't see how to overcome this step to get to what is described on the Tunderbird UTube video. I have downloaded the Thunderbird set up file using Edge, Chrome and Firefox browsers. Same problem each time. Thanks

Using Macbook Air M1 with Monterey.

I've spent most of the night trying to find a solution to the blank, unresponsive screen since TB updated. No folders, accounts, messages, etc. *(see attached image). I'm not the only one with this problem, but in all the "solved" discussions of this problem, none of the solutions have worked for me.

I've toggled between themes, uninstalled/reinstalled TB, checked all settings and configs, run in troubleshoot mode, cleared the caches... Nothing has worked.

I'm able to create and send new messages from this blank page, and I receive them on my other devices. So, it would seem my configs are fine. Kind of lost at this point. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

I realized that when i use Quicsearch field for searching in message BODY, it works wrong. When i put to search field value 1084783026 it finds some messages, but when i delete one number (either from begin or end) , it does not find anything, even not than previous records . I got to some problems because of that... :-( With regards Martin

On my previous Macbook, I had set up a printer workflow that let me attach a PDF to a new Thunderbird message. It worked the same way as Send to Mail, but started a new Thunderbird message. (Print > PDF > Send to Thunderbird.) I seem to recall doing something in Automator when I set it up years ago, but for the life of me, I can't remember what. That Macbook drowned in January and was unsalvageable, and that workflow which I used constantly, was lost.

I just spend two hours scouring the internet, both Thunderbird- and MacOS-related sites, with no luck. Yes, I know I can save to PDF and then add it to a new outgoing message, but I had it setup so I could do all of this in one step from the system print dialog, and I do this frequently enough that I really want that functionality back. It's not as simple as dragging Thunderbird.app into the PDF Services folder; I've tried that.

Does anybody have this working on their Mac?

Sorry! 0 results found for ‘my comcast E-mail will not come up for me. it keeps saying NOT Responding. I have not been able to read any of my E-Mails since 11/25/2022. Can you please let me know what going on? I have called your people for the problem. They keep saying someone will call me, So far nothing. ‘Thunderbird’ Not good business for comcast.

Since a recent update, TB tries to group all emails in a long discussion string together, but I often find that list very difficult to find for reference. It takes some time for sent emails in a string to show in my Sent folder. It's extemely frustrating and confusing, very unhelpful. I have been using TB for around 15 years, but this aggravation might force me to use another programme entirely quite soon.

The HTML display for incoming email seems to have broken between 10/21/2022 18:23 (which I believe to be the time of the 102.4.0 upgrade) and approximately 10/22/2022 (today) about 16:30. Is there any way to restore these as HTML display?

After being abandoned by my ISP (and the problems this caused) I installed Thunderbird. Some month after this I raised an email account for my wife - so that I could do her entries to a sports club.

Now when I raise a business email to firms, the reply is sent to her account.

Could you advise me what if anything I've done wrong please?

Thunderbird has been my mailer for more than 15 years. The latest incarnation Supernova is awfully buggy. I installed version 102.3.3 in early October and since then had lots of grief. Updating to 115.3.2 on Oct 13 and to 115.3.3 today did nothing to improve things. The program suffers lots of freezes and is just not functioning well. I tried to file this report from within T-bird following Settings -> General -> Release notes (under Updates) -> file a bug in Bugzilla and ended up with an empty, unresponsive page (see attached). There appears to be something very fundamental that needs to be fixed.

When TB tries to retrieve items to update a feed, and Internet connection isn't available, it simply disable the feed and stops updating that feed forever. the only way to check whether one or more feeds have been disabled is to look one by one as often as possible in order not to loose many news. Any easier solution please?

Hi there, i have a Win10 VM with thundebrird where i cant see/get/try to exisist the PGP end-to-end option in the account config. Every other System running in our organisation has no problems with Thunderbird using the buildin end-to-end config.

I tried the same thunderbolt setup with different accounts and on different systems, in only just doenst exist whithin a win10 VM which is running on a debian host.

There is someone continusouly trying to log-into my email address. But I do not know where this is coming from.

Help please....to find out who or where this is coming from.

I often realized that TB does not signalize (and show) any new meaasages on all configured mailboxes even when i can see them in webmail interface. Button Load Messages or load ALL messages, or lodad particular boxes or go to off/on line does not help. It even persists for several days. I suspend system in the night instead of switch off. When i exit TB and immediately re-run, it loads messages fine.

I use ionos mail / thunderbird for edited email from public] @919roslyn.com I now get messages for multiple addresses from the ionos mail server. Ho\w do I limit to only [edited email from public] @919roslyn.com

i am trying to access my gmail mail but cannot put my password in. went to your help but in -- account settings -- SMTP server -- authentication method -- it will not show OAth option. have checked cookies settings etc but nothing ????

Trying to install 102 Beta. I am asked for my password. Which password is it? Thunderbird or Imap? Where can I find the password in use? Tried password manager, found two passwords, none of which worked. What to do?
