Example: I want to automatically delete incoming messages from one sender in all GMX accounts (I have 4 of them). Is this possible? If not, is it worth for an enhancement?

I was wondering if it is possible to make the open folder of emails on the right and then the view of the emails on the right? I have it set up on "Vertical" layout and would like all of the messages to be on the right hand side of the screen, but the view of the message in the middle between "all folders" and the open message

I have been using the Samsung email app on my phone for a few years. However I can now receive emails but cannot send. I have spoken to Samsung and after some help they referred me to my Provider. I rang Plusnet who told me they do not support Thunderbird any more - although my PC receives and sends Thunderbird emails. What do I need to do please? Regards

I recently reset my desk top and after that my thunderbird will not open without a password that I have not got. I need a simple way to find the password or otherwise allow me to reinstal a new download. I have tried for two days using lots of suggestions from web and help but I cant get past the request for a password

I'ved used Firefox for years, my home address is at BMTC. net. BMTC is going away in a month, and everyone who lives in this town of 2000 must change their email. I also use gmail a little, but wish to use Firefox as primary. My question? If I can no longer use BMTC.net as my address, how can I use Firefox as my primary email?, and receive it at my home without the local BMTC.net address?

Hello, Since the update to Thunderbird Supernova from version 102 upwards, emails in several email folders are automatically deleted or hidden. The properties in the respective folders are listed under Retention rules: Do not delete messages.

The emails displayed in the folders no longer correspond to the contents in the folders. Example: A folder displays: 7, properties in the same folder displays: 1226 with 447 MB. It looks similar in the other folders.

How can I ensure that all available emails are displayed in Thunderbird again?

A repair with *.msf does not help.

Menu Bar Text & Icons Customization Problem

When I right click on the menu bar and choose "customize" there is a "button style" selection at the bottom of the page where one can choose to display "icons beside text", "icons above text", "icons only" or "text only" but regardless of what option I select, I only get text. I believe it was was working properly when I first updated to 115.4.1 but then quit.

I've tried uninstalling and re-installing Thunderbird to no avail. How can I get it working properly?

Thunderbird recently updated to 115.4.1 (64-bit) for my Windows computer

I HATE IT, I can't find anything. I can't have it get email for a specific email address (I have 9 different email addresses that I manage for me, mom, dad, hubby and kids)

I need to be able to see them like before

I also want to get rid of the the emails being grouped together from 1 specific person I want them all separate

How can I roll this version back, how do I "ungroup" the emails ?

Thunderbird Tools menu has Run Filter on Folders and Delete Mail Marked as Junk greyed out.

Thuderbird was working fine until the latest update was applied. Now the following has occured.

1. Several folders and their subfolders and emails have vanished. 2. None of the message filters that were working are working. Yes the fileres are enabled checked and "Run selected filter(s) on:" is set to the inbox connected to my email address. 3. The Tools-> Run Filter on Folders is greyed out 4. The Tools-> Delete Mail Marked as Junk is greyed out

I have seached the web for help and I have looked for settings that may need to be checked or set but have found nothing that helped.

Hello, I'm using Thunderbird (and before Netscape Messenger) already 30 years. With this new version 115.4.1 (32-Bit) I'm now experiencing the symptom, that, when I reopen one of the mailboxes the focus is not in this mailbox on the last read mail as it was always in earlier versions, it now focusses somewhere so that you always have to scroll to the point where you have been last time.

I am new to Thunderbird and I run a mac mini using macOS Catalina 10.16.7 with Thunderbird v115.4.1. how do I get the date/time to display within the email so I know when it was sent? after installing the app the date/time only seems to be displayed in the listing of email. when looking at the email itself I do not see any date information, even if I open the email in a new window.

My apologies if this has been asked/answered but I did not see this topic when looking at the FAQs
