I have 3 machines with Thunderbird. A while back I noticed that I had duplicate folders for sent mail (Sent & Sent Mail) and for Drafts. (Drafts and Drafts) I did a search and found a discussion from 2019, but nothing more recent. That one kinda lost me. I just got a new machine and installed Thunderbird again. My Gmail account on the new machine shows the same dual folders. Hopefully someone here can detail a solution in steps for a moron like myself.

So I have multiple email accounts. When using folder mode I want to show all the email account inboxes in the unified inbox interface. All but one email account inbox shows up. I do see the email where are the email addresses are showing. But not in the unified inbox area. why is that?

Settings When i go to Folder Mode - Enable, Unified Folders result: all accounts except 1 shows up. question: why wouldn't that account only not show up? And how do I fix it?

With the moving of Cox emails to Yahoo would it be feasible for Thunderbird to put an instruction list(with screenshots) of how to get all our TB email accounts from Cox to TB? Do we have to delete all our TB email accounts and re-enter them into TB under the new Yahoo or can we just change the server settings on the existing Cox settings? If just changing server settings what are the settings for the new yahoo? All my accounts are IMAP so if instructions could be made, maybe one for IMAP and one for POP for those who use either. Thank you

The program says I now have 11 emails which haven't been opened but there are no emails to open, just emails received previously. Apparently I am receiving but they are not visible to me. what happened and how to fix. I'm an amateur and don't understand computer commands.

Hello, I've found this article [[Knowledge Base Article|https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/maildir-thunderbird]] which substantially says that the use of maildir is deprecated. Has anything changed from the time that article was posted? I'd like to use maildir, it seems to me a more rational way to store e-mails (and it's also better to make incremental backups).

When I attempt to send an email, I get this pop-up:

Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail: Outgoing server (SMTP) error. The server responded: impout006.msg.chrl.nc.charter.net cmsmtp 15.181.97.27 blocked. My ISP is Spectrum, they said issue is with Thunderbird, incoming s/b 993, outgoing 587, which I confirmed. How can this be fixed?

I have been using three email accounts on Thunderbird, all for a long period of time, and all without any issue. Recently the one listed below has not been backing up, and I receive this message. I am not techie at all, so any response needs to be dummy down to a 5th grader level. Thanks!

tried to donate, it wouldn't let me click paypal, so used credit card, then just kept saying an error has occurred. You cant say I didn't try. You ask for donations then don't accept them.

Hello and thank you for your help, I am trying to find my old Mozilla Thunderbird, e-mail account my older computer does not work, anymore, I have not used my Thunderbird, e-mail account in over five years, because I am on a newer computer. And could not access my information on the older computer that does not work. I could really use all my information and EMAIL account for Thunderbird, because I have many years of information on all those emails, I can’t find my password, 0r email address for Thunderbird emails, because I have not used my Thunderbird account in over 5 years. My old computer does not work and Thunderbird Email is a great program. How could I get my old emails back? And working. If you could please give me more or less a time, and date, to wait for your response, so I can wait for someone to help me, and not lose that opportunity. It would be much appreciated, so I don’t miss contact with someone that can help me with this matter. I am in the East coast. And thank you for any concern in this matter please help.

Hi, I have used Thunderbird for many years and always liked it. I would like to know is there a way to tone down the brightness of the white message pane in email ?? It is very bright and glaring. Any white anywhere else I go is just fine. Thank You,, Banyarola

I have over 200 emails that I can find in search and can view a preview type showing of emails, I can right click or take any action aside from clicking to open email. But when I try to open email it seem to open a new page that is blank and shows a page just like regular email listing but the field showing emails in blank. This same blank results also happens when I can see emails in search window but click the link to view in list view. I just need to open an email enough to be able to see what email address the original email was sent to. I also will add I cant seem to find any of the emails found in search in any of the accounts that being used in Thunderbird (accounts listed in left side column) Also these emails are 2 years old and the computer may or may not have had a OS reset during that time but not sure.

I have 3 emails with greatmail.com. One email has this problem (the others are fine) When I open any incoming email, I get this warning at the bottom of the page: "A unique identity matching the From address was not found. The message will be sent using the current From field and settings from identity Joan Dailey<jdailey@expresslyyours.com" </p>

Also, having clicked on it to open it, the email appears to be (automatically) a reply from me and none of the links that may be in the email work... it also appears to be in edit mode.

Further, if I go into my expresslyyours account at https://webmail.greatmail.com, I am allowed to click a box and allow the message to present normally. Part of those emails may be coming to e-store@expresslyyours.com... however, it is happening to ALL emails to my EY mailbox. What can I do to fix this? Where to look? By the way, have discussed this with greatmail and they are puzzled.

I have visited the web site, sent the report, and rung VM, to no avail. Window 10. Thunderbird v115.10.1. SMTP: Blueyonder smtp.blueyonder.co.uk Port 25 Authentication method: Password, transmitted insecurely Connection Security: None AVG anti-virus. I have used Therbird for 20+ years. Can you help?

I would like to know if there's a possibility to forward multiple emails to one recipient in one e-mail?

I have to forward thousand of e-mails from one inbox and send them to one recipient. I know that some of the mailboxes offers this option to save time. I would really appreciate your help and maybe some clues that can help me with this task.
