Need to increase the spacing between messages in the message list window in Thunderbird. The solution provided in the forum thread "https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1314785" is not helpful.

Suddenly I can not receive my emails on Thunderbird. They do show up on my cell phone. When I send an email, I get the following, "Your message was sent, but a copy was not placed in your Sent folder due to network or file access errors. What can I do?? Ed PS I will get your email response on my cell phone, thank you.

Beginner or Luddite Question - I am seeking something like outlook, but NOT OUTLOOK. I lost so many contacts, connections, data and usability from that POS. Let's be clear. I am seeking something that will support the following: -having multiple email addresses for multiple businesses and organizations all in one place. - the ability to have individual signature boxes for each email address supported (as many as 12) - Something that won't crash on me and F*** up everything -I don't care if I have to pay, I want everything in one place easy to utilize. - I want a third-party VA to be able to get in under a common sign in and work under my name

Can Thunderbird do all this and more without having to hire a $500 per hour techie? If someone is for hire, how much is the charge?

Thunderbird keeps erasing my inbox.

I currently have Thunderbird set up using POP but would like to change to IMAP to sync with my other devices. If I change from POP to IMAP, a. will that affect the emails that are currently showing in Thunderbird and b. will the emails that are in Thunderbird then appear with my other points of access?

I can't open my Excel attachments in ThunderBird.

Is there a setting I need to open. The one I use by default only gives me word, wordpad options. or choose my own, which is still word and wordpad.

Can I upgrade my Thunderbird 115.3.1 from 32 bit to 64 bit?

My Thunderbird has recently automatically updated to V115.3.1 but remains 32 bit. When I go to the Thunderbird download page there doesn't appear to be a choice of version.

In the past, I had followed this post and created the userChrome.css file so that when I have my emails shown in Table View, if one email within a thread is unread, the whole thread is collapsed, but the subject line remains in bold.

With this latest Thunderbird update to version 115.13.1 I have lost the functionality; now the subject line of the collapsed thread shows as underlined. How can I go back to my preferred bold view?

I have been using Thunderbird for years to access several @charter.net email addresses, lately administrated at Spectrum, which took over Charter. Everything was working normally until today. I can still receive emails, but when I send, I get an error message asking for a password: "password required for outgoing SMPT server" Manually entering a password in that error message box doesn't help. Spectrum support is not helpful beyond confirming that my email sends and receives normally as long as I access it on their website. Three clues: 1) Spectrum recently announced "new and improved" email. 2) One customer service person described my email addresses as "legacy". 3) My gmail address sends and receives just fine from Thunderbird as usual. Comcast suggested I change my password, so I did. It worked on my laptop but not here on my PC, I can't access Tbird emails on the PC. It will not recognize my new comcast password. HELP

HELP HELP HELP Duplicates continue to be generated as of latest Thunderbird Version 115.6.1. Final Solution?? Running on my MacOS Ventura 13.6.3 (22G436). Fully updated and kept as my babe!! Same as my Thunderbird. Using the [**Remove duplicates...**] official tool to fix it, but continues to appear always after some time.

Use a lot of dayly maintenance on my mails, creating _new-folders_ continuously and moving mails depending on subjects as needed. Continuously maintaining, Always _empty-trash_ followed immediately by _compact-folders_ Always try to do weekly backups.

Duplicates Still never ended since so long been reported!! Any way to fix the issue once and forever??

Do not need/want to suffer a complete platform crash on my loved mailer. Would be a complete disaster. Obviously I keep on backing up once per week.

I've just installed TB 115.6 on my MacBook to see if I like it better than Apple Mail. There is one thing that seems weird to me. Fonts are displayed larger in the Read window than in the Write and Reply windows.

These are my font settings: Default font: Helvetica, size 14 Composition, HTML Style: font: variable width, size: medium

Now if I send an e-mail to myself the font looks larger once I receive the message than what it looked like when I was composing it. And then if I reply to this message the font becomes smaller again in the Reply window.

The font in the Write window has the exact same appearance as in Apple Mail where I also defined Helvetica 14 as the default font. So my suspicion is that the fonts are somehow scaled up in the Read window. But why? And how to change it so that the same font looks the same everywhere?
