I upgraded to 115.3.1 from 102.15.1 this week. I do not understand the large increase in version number, but I have not done any searches. I have a number of complains with this new version.

1) I want to move one message to a Local Folder, and I get the message at the bottom "nn messages moved from Inbox to Tr.ash". The one message I wanted to move remains in the Inbox, and I have to move it again. When I try to move them again, the folder displayed is NOT the one into which I had just tried to save. I have no idea if any messages were moved from Inbox to Trash, and I have no idea how I would find them.

2) The font size in the window is smaller than it was with 102, and there is blank space on the right. Is there a way to increase the font size?

3) I read one mail message and I process it (delete it or save it in a Local Folder). Most of the time, the next message in the Inbox is opened. But sometimes the window advances to a message further down in the Inbox, and I then have to go back into the Inbox to access then next message I was planning on reading.

Hello there! Please can someone help me? On my pc, lately, when I move an email from my Thunderbird Inbox to a folder, the message does 'go' from my Inbox, but it does not re-appear in the folder. In fact, the message seems to disappear! However, the message tally count for that folder indicates that the message should be there, but it isn't visible. It's obviously been happening for a while but I don't know when it will have started. In the attached image, the folder 'Chatham, Cape Cod' shows that it should have 10 messages in it, but you'll see that the folder is empty, no messages are showing. In fact, all of the 3 folders 1) Boston, 2) Chatham, Cape Cod, and 3) Virgin Atlantic show that they have messages in them, but on opening each folder, each of those folders is empty. I should add that, on my phone or ipad, when I view my folders, all of the messages are visible. It is just on my PC that the messages are not visible. I've uninstalled Thunderbird and reinstalled it, but that didn't help. And I don't know what else to do! I'd be so grateful for help as I'm not techy and, as I work mainly from my PC, it's proving to be difficult not having all of my messages visible in their folders on my PC. I want to move TB from a win 7 machine on the C: drive to a win10 machine on the E: drive. I downloaded a fresh copy of TB to the win 10 machine and installed it in the D: drive. Completed set up and can send/receive emails. I copy/paste the profiles folders using a usb stick, putting it in the same folder on the D: drive as TB. However, TB doesn't see it. In Troubleshooting help, Environment variables, it clearly shows the roaming folder as C:, while the program is clearly D:. What have I done wrong and how do I correct it please? In one of my folders used just for certain emails then are now disappearing and to get them back I have to click " show only emails from people in my address book. That is not always the case depending on the sender. Got a fix ?

I decided I needed to use a password to enter my emails. By following my nose, I went to settings and checked the box to use a primary password. It then asked for a password. I typed it in... twice. Once, then confirm. Now, I can't enter my email no matter how many times I type in the password. I've tried resetting the password by going to chrome://pippki/content/resetpassword.xhtml. It says password was reset but nothing has changed, it did not ask me for a new password, and I still can't get in. Frustration has set in. Thank you for any help you can give tome.

I hate the way the new Thunderbird version looks, can't get normal number of emails at once, can't read any of them at the bottom of the page. Please give me my old version back. This was a horrid intrusion with no warning that it wasn't just a normal update

I have two Firefox email systems. One works perfectly. The other suddenly stopped showing the screen of inbox messages. I can scroll over the blank space and the message will display in the lower part of the monitor, but not in the upper screen of subjects, sender, date. How do I return to default setting?

Good morning I have updated Thunderbird to the lastest version 115.6.0 (64-bit) on my Mac with Ventura 13.3.1 (22E261) and now I can not see my mailboxes and folders. Have tried everything - nothing works. Rest bookmarks work. Contacts and other functions. I can create and send letters from any of my mailboxes, I can search letters in all mailboxes in search field, but I can not see on the left bookmark nothing - empty list of mailboxes. I have download the program again, reinstalled, changed Thunderbird file in Programms - same thing. Please help.

i want to disable my spamblocker/ junk mail detector in firefox ..... it keeps sending legit emails to the spam file no matter how i adjust the junkmail settings....is there a way to just turn the spam/junk detector off altogether?

i already have spam detector through my cPanel at my webhost and another junkmail detector in antivirus/malware program on my desktop

i don't need firefox diverting legit emails that get through the earlier detectors.

In the past, I had followed this post and created the userChrome.css file so that when I have my emails shown in Table View, if one email within a thread is unread, the whole thread is collapsed, but the subject line remains in bold.

With this latest Thunderbird update to version 115.13.1 I have lost the functionality; now the subject line of the collapsed thread shows as underlined. How can I go back to my preferred bold view?

How can I delete a second email account folder that duplicates data in 1st folder? Folder names are as follows: prentissr@ example.net prentissR@ example.net

Emails arrive in duplicate, and when deleted they come back again, and again. This is a recent development although I recall having this happen several years ago, but I don't recall attempting to fix the problem, so it must have corrected itself. Assistance would be appreciated to correct this problem.

I have many folders and sub folders and before the new upgrade each sub folder would show the number of new messages. Now only the main sub folder shows and if there are messages only the first level local sub folders show new messages not the second level and third level.

I have spent the last TWO HOURS trying to find an answer to what should be a simple problem, and it seems not to exist!

I need to find out WHERE Firebird lists my email account PASSWORD.

I do NOT want to reset my password.

I simple need to know WHAT my password is, and since I set up the account [actually a few accounts] several years ago, my notes are evidently null and void, because none of those passwords seem to work.

My email is through verizon.net, which is one of the problems because they gave all of their email coltrol to AOL, which thouroughly sucks, and they seem not to have anyone who speaks fluent English who can assist me in FINDING the current password!

If ANYONE can help, it would be most greatly appreciated!!

inbox displays the subject and date only of new emails ie NO message is shown nor any activity eg delete, forward etc. Double click on email and it is displayed in a new window
