So every time the browser crashed or a blackout happens and it forced closed (sometimes the browser is closed normally and it still happens) the next time i start the browser it would show the restore session page. Pressing the restore session would just restore the open tabs and not the tab groups. Because of this i would need to go to the file manager, copy the previous.json and change it to replace the sessionstore. it's kinda annoying. is this problem just me or is this a known issue? also how to fix.

Firefox updated and all of my tabs I had open are gone. I used those for organizing and remembering things. There's no option to open recently closed windows. No history of the tabs as a group. What do I do?

My Firefox crashed and one of my windows with a bunch of tabs was lost. I have a bunch of windows open for dedicated sorting of tabs (one for socials, one for videos, etc). Earlier, my Firefox crashed and it attempted to restore my session but did not restore one specific window I had. I looked in the "History > Recently Closed Windows" and it was not there either. This specific window had a bunch of work related things on it and while I can sift through my history and re-open each tab individually and rebuild it that way, that's really frustrating and time consuming. Is my window just lost now?

I had a problem with my Zotac PC and had to do a reset, when done none of my passwords or bookmarks came back after the resety even though Firefox asked for my password and email to send me a code but everything is gone and I have way to reach some of my frequently used sites, can you please help? last night when i closed the system down, i had 5 spacial tabs with names, and apx 50 other tabs open, come to start the system this morning.. all gone.. nothing.. just a new firefox.. all my history.. gone... this is not good, as the 5 spacial tabs that i had where from seriten sits that need to be their,and now.. just gone.. the lot... and all the setting are correct..

Running windows 10. I installed the newest vewrsion of Firefox, and now I can see or find bookmarks anywhere. I tried the tutorial but I dont see anywhere in my computer where a list of bookmarks are.

Windows 10 - Pro Lenovo T490 ( Lenovo LTD installed firmware update 6/19 & 17/26 (respectively - 1st time I've EVER seen this): 1.0.0.28 & 1.0.0.85

An icon is missing from my desktop which I normally use to open FF. I have noticed issues when NOT using this icon previously - like there is a different version or ID attached - I need to get this back. Data Loss (Clippings) / Again !! - I'm not sure who is at fault. When I display Settings - I notice a HUGE difference in that there is NO General tab (attached) as there was when I reported this (similar to me) issue last 2 weeks ago (see original problem report link).

When I use Recovery: I have a file displayed: Location C:\Users\pc\Desktop\Old Firefox Data\wu6w9pz8.default-release\sessionstore-backups Last modified 6/8/2026, 8:07 PM (3rd time in this doesn't show - right after copying the filename !~)

I believe I need to use this as my production / live version & need instructions on how to recover / restore this. I have NOT YET used Windows Recovery (but I will look at it) - Microsoft Visual C++ was installed - 2 restore points as of this morning. (I may be wrong).

Running Windows 10 but with extra year of security updates. Several web sites were running very slow or not loading at all. So I tried doing system restore - only went back 3 days but afterward said it had some problems, and link to Firefox did not work. So I did system recovery back to time from which I had just done restore. But I had no link to Firefox so had to download it new. But now I have none of my previous tabs, links, saved passwords,,etc. I'm hoping my previous Firefox is still on my PC and there is a way I can run it.

Greetings and Good evening Windows was reset on 03/06/2026 due to problem. Option chosen was removal of Apps only No data was removed When Mozila was opened on 03/06/2026,It had all data since 2021. It was already registered with -removed-@gmail.com. Still history and bookmarks from 2021 were not restored. On 02/06/2026,0ne drive back up was also initiated. Please guide me as how to restore this.
