Sometimes, I'll click a new tab, and "something" happens. It's like it tries to create a new tab, yet it's just a half-formed nothing that you can't interact with. And when this happens, Firefox is destined to eventually crash / become unresponsive. I literally have to reboot to get Firefox working again. I haven't tried logging out. That would probably work, too.

This also happens when moving new tabs, but I've only notice that happen on tabs with Youtube.com open.

For the third time with a broken arm! I set up my home page and tabs for work, banking etc. Last 2 days after I have closed down the night before, all my tabs are gone. I can't spend half a day setting them all up again only to have them, disappear again. Please find my tabs and restore them so I can continue my work.

When i try to log into my banking at anz.com.au Login i always get "Your Tab just Crashed " Just tried a tastingaustralia.com.au and a tab that says "explore winter series" i get the same Your tab just crashed The banking login has been like this for weeks If i log in using Edge it works fine Whats wrong with Firefox  ??

I have lost my tabs after accidentally clicking top right hand cross and now can't all my 30 tabs back, very frustrating! This the one that keeps coming back which is not the page I want.

I use google meet a lot. I need to screen my screen very often. i have used other web browsers which let to share a singe tab in the meet, but in firefox, can only get the option for either a window or an entire screen which is very inconvenient. I hope to hear from you soon because i use firefox and its be a shame for me to switch to other web browsers completely for this issue. My email is vijay.rh@gmail.com

When I have a website open and want to open a new one from the bookmark bar it opens it in the same tab, thus losing the first website. How do I stop this happening? I want to open several websites from bookmarks and have them all open at the same time. Thanks.

"When you open a link, image or media in a new tab, switch to it immediately" is happening - even though the box is unchecked. Only in favorites bar, not in web page or Firefox homepage Shortcuts (1 row or 2 rows) or Recent activity.

It's very irritating, so i hope there is a solution...?

I recently upgraded to Windows 11. I use Firefox as my primary browser, however sometimes I need to use the MS Edge browser. When I open MS Edge, it automatically closes Firefox and deletes my las set of Firfox tabs. How can get my Firefox tabs to remain? ...and yes I DO have the Startup setting box checked for: "Open previous windows and tabs"

I have a lot of tabs open. I like it that way, but if I close a tab the "hidden tabs" feature gets activated. And all the tabs go away. It isn't a huge issue it is just very annoying. How can I disable this annoying feature?

My laptop had to do a restart and I have about 10 pinned tabs and I went to open firefox and they are all gone. I've tried to do the restore session but they aren't popping back up. How do I get them back???

My browser just updated to version 100.0 and now there's a big white block at the top that blocks access to tabs and the Minimize/Maximize/Close buttons at the top.

I found a few other articles going back to 2015 with this same issue and the only solution that helped a tiny bit was checking or unchecking the Title Bar box. Unchecking it helps a little bit as you can see in the attached screenshot.

The top of the image is with the Title Bar box checked, the bottom of the image is with that box unchecked.

Any idea how to resolve this?

Ridiculous. FF update wants to remove, change, modify, etc. previous tabs that took many hours to set up. I don't need or want new profiles. Maybe it's all saved but none of the help is useful in restoring my tabs. How can I get some real help? This is a good reason to never use FF.

Why is there now no option to close present tab only when clicking on X. The old (default) warning was excellent. With no warning, clicking the X kills Firefox - and all open tabs. This has lost me hours of work already. i certainly don't want to go down the route of restoring all tabs first. I can't rely on it, for instance, holding all comments made on a form. And for that matter, I wouldn't want that to reinstate a login.

Please can we return to the warning with 2 options Close all tabs and Close current tab only.
