I recently switched to Linux on both my laptop and desktop computers, and I have started having an issue where after closing Firefox, the process does not end fully, leading to a Firefox crash notice after a minute or two.

This seems to only happen when I have sync turned on. It always says "syncing..." and never finishes, and logging out of my account or turning sync off fixes this problem. However, I'd really like to be able to use sync across my two systems.

My laptop is running Pop OS, and my desktop is running CachyOS. Making a new account fixed this error for a few days, and now it is happening again.

after a fresh reload of windows was performed on my machine, I signed into my Mozilla account but none of my bookmarks were appearing after the successful sign in. When I tried syncing it still did not appear. There are bookmarks that I had saved on firefox that are essential.

I have made a fresh install of Windows 11 from Windows 10, and after logging into my account everything syncs, apart from my bookmarks. As i have made a fresh install, i deleted all of my old files on the computer. Is there any way to get my bookmarks back?

15/12/2025 I need to sync my firefox data from my old windows 10 laptop to my new windows 11 laptop. Do I have to download the firefox app on to my new laptop before I can sync it, and will I need a new password if I have to download the app. Im using my old password on my old laptop to write this. On the new laptop, I tried to sign into firefox on the internet but, it said my password is wrong. I'm an oldie and have no idear what to do. Iwill be very grateful for any help. Many Thanks,

Cannot get FireFox browser on my Windows 11 computer to sync with my Android mobile phone or the other way around. They both can see each other but they won't sync.

My firefox deleted all my passwords and bookmarks last night. I manually inputed everything from scratch and now it has all deleted again. I pressed sync no multiple times and nothing is popping up. I am extremely annoyed. If this isn't resolved I must switch to a new browser.

Hello, my old laptop broke. I bought a new one, installed Firefox, and signed into my Firefox account. My add-ons synced, but my passwords and bookmarks are gone. I can't access the old laptop now. Is there a way to fix this without a backup file? Or are add-ons the most I can get? Both devices have been added to the devices in the Firefox account.

I wish to switch to a new primary laptop. I normally use multiple machines in the course of a day. I have probably hundreds of open tabs on my main computer and even though I checked "Open Tabs" for sync, they never show on my other devices.

Following previous help recommendations I searched for the json sessions file...it doesn't exist anywhere on my system. The only other "help" was to "tap" tabs in the lower right corner. There is nothing in the lower right corner unless, perhaps on a phone, which isn't the device in question.

Hi, i synced everything, in your browser, checked it few times, i had all my bookmarks from chrome to firefox few months ago, reinstalled windows, downloaded firefox and connected to account its clean, no of my information is there, wtf? i forgot the password, so recovered it. Give back my data for fuck sake, or it was mistake comming from chrome to firefox?

My account won't sync my old passwords and browser history. I recently reinstalled windows and when I tried to sign in to my mozilla account my data wasn't there.

I have a profil i didn't use since 22 days because computer issues

I need to retrieve ALL my tabs from this device For some issues i could'nt to it all before.

Now, i can see in my firefox profil pge, the profil exist. But if i go to my firefox installed in my new computer, i don't see THIS firefox device with ALL my VERY IMPORTANT tabs.

Is there any way to retrieve them ?

I have been trying to enable Firefox Sync on my Windows 11 PC (Firefox 145.02). I open the Firefox Sync window, I click on Log In, I enter my e-mail and click on "Sign up or Sign In" and then the view freezes and I never get any further. The attached screen capture never changes, no matter how long I wait.

I use Firefox for work. Recently, I refreshed my desktop and now my favorites do not sync with the fresh Firefox installation. I've logged out, uninstalled/reinstalled, etc. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
