Whenever my laptop starts up,firefox with all of my tabs always starts up with it. When i rose up earlier in the day and started up my laptop firefox with all my tabs opened up as normal,but this evening everything is gone. I had at least 20 tabs open and they were all important. There was no option to recover the tabs and this isn't the first time this has happened,this is at least the third time that this has happened after the last year and a bit. This is incredibly annoying and frustrating. Is there even any point in asking the community how this can be resolved?

All of my bookmarks have been disappeared with a new automatic update (9/22) and now I'm left with no bookmarks at all. My other devices were not synced because my work computer needed different links saved. Any easy options for recovery? The bookmark management tool shows no options to import bookmarks and clicking any of the restore or import options does literally nothing. This is a huge issue for work flow and is putting me out of schedule. Why would an update remove ALL bookmarks? Seems like a serious over look in function.

Firefox deleted many folders in my bookmarks file. Then, trying to straighten this out, Firefox has completely changed its home page layout and I can not manage it even in the simplest way. I want to restore everything to how it was two or three days ago.

I've tuned in to Firefox this morning to find that I'm kind of shut out, no access to my usual apps, and required to enact some difficult backing up etc. When I explore, it seems to relate to Windows 10 losing its backup from Microsoft. But I'm running Windows 11, not 10. What's going on? Is this legitimate? If so, why is it complicated and why wasn't it forewarned (by Firefox)?

Since Firefox automatically updated (14.0.1) on my MacBook Air (2025 model) several weeks ago, the Bookmarks and History functions haven't worked. Can anyone suggest how I can fix this?

For some reason all of my bookmarks are gone. I have tried all the suggested fixes and it's still not working. Don't know where they went but I would sure like to have them back. Plus, now when I try to bookmark a page its not accepting it. :(

Tried Old Firefox Data and I don't think it's there. I don't see it in about:profiles. I used it yesterday and windows seemed to refresh overnight. When I opened firefox this morning, an old profile came up (as it does sometimes). Usually when this happens, two profiles open and I just close the old one that I don't use. But this time only the old one opened. PLEASE HELP!!!

i got an update message and restarted firefox. now all my saved bookmarks and passwords for accounts has disappearred. how do i get them back? under settings, it doesn't give me option to import from previous firefox

My Bookmarks are missing. I see backups under the profile/bookmarkbackups folder but when I manage bookmarks, they are not in the restore dropdown. I have followed the steps to delete the places.sqlite but when I reopen firefox, I do not see the bookmarks have been restored. I thought it might have been related to Norton Utilities so I renewed a subscription but no luck. I also have a json file with my bookmarks but I cannot choose it from Manage Bookmarks, either
