I am looking to turn on review checker and cannot see how to do it. I don't have the price tag icon displayed nor do I have any reference to Review Checker in my settings. I'm wondering if my version of Firefox supports it (133.0). Any ideas?

Hello everyone,

I’m reaching out because I have some concerns regarding Norton’s HTTPS scanning feature. Recently, I noticed that Norton scans HTTPS traffic, and I’m unsure about how this impacts my privacy and security. While I understand the feature is meant to detect threats, I’m particularly worried because it involves decrypting sensitive information. This raises concerns about whether my personal data, such as login credentials or payment details, could be exposed during the scanning process. Has anyone else experienced issues or found this feature problematic? I'd love to hear about your experiences and whether there are any steps I can take to ensure my online security without risking privacy.

I also have found a names of site that were blocked in the report generated from Norton

someting to read ---> https://zakird.com/papers/https_interception.pdf

Thanks in advance!

I've tried making Google an exception, to no avail.

Hello All ,

Hope someone can help me on this. I am trying to access directly a device from Browser with an IP address. https://192.168.1.1 But i get the error : "Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead"

Usually get the option of adnaced to proceed further. The Version is 130.0 (64-bit) and even set the about:config, security.dialog_enable_delay to minimum.

I have added the self signned certificate of the deivice to Firefox , but that is not helping, since i am accessing it with IP address and not FQDN. I cannot add it as exception in the exception list , since that setting also ask for DNS name.

Ip address access exception is no more available in this version , how can i proceed further and not downagrade to lower verion to support access via IP .

Hello, I am running Firefox on a W10-Pro PC. I always click the lock to check certificate validation. In the last month I keep seeing "Connection verified by a certificate issuer that is not recognized by Mozilla".

When I click for more information I see that "Norton Web/Mail Shield" does not recognize the certificate issuer. When I click on Learn More it takes me to a Firefox site "How to disable the Enterprise Roots preference" I also checked W10 certmgr.msc and I see Norton is listed. Images included below. I would love to resolve this issue. Thank you for your time.

Hi, I just installed Windows 11, version 24H2 and now in Firefox I'm continually prompted with "Awaiting Location Permission, Grant Firefox location permission in system settings".

The problem that location has been turned off by admin on this computer. How can I stop these continual prompts from Firefox? I have checked the box in Settings to block location requests from new websites but am still getting the prompts.

Thank you.

Suddenly getting endless warnings from Mozilla/Firefox (with McAfee-like logo) warning of major virus contamination of laptop. "Click to delete immediately" has no effect. Suggestion to run McAfee scan show 5 major problems but McAfee profile says account paid thru August and no breaches in last four years. Says too soon to renew. 'Your browser is being managed by your organisation' This appears at the start of settings on my computer, which is a personal computer & not an organisation. The issuer name of the certificate is 'Internet Security Research Group' - Common name ISRG Root X1. Subject name organisation is 'Let's encrypt' (R11). I have recently been finding a frequent inability to access websites, such as DuckDuckGo search , as well as others, being labelled inaccessible. This is often followed by a loss of internet signal, and I have to shut down completely, then restart. I am beginning to suspect that ISRG Root X1 / R11 are responsible for limiting internet access by my personal computer. How do I turn off this organisation and Your browser is being managed by your organisation' from my computer, please?

How to make attached files in email open up without requiring saving the file before viewing

Recently, I purchased some software to scrub my hard drive due to my Dell Desktop running slow. That is when the way I normally access emailed attached files changed. Normally, if I receive a WORD or EXCEL (MS file) in email, I can open the email and access the attachment without having to download and save to my desktop or hard drive. I have changed all settings in the Privacy Area / Trust Area of MS but this did not change anything. MS Representatives stated I would need to use Outlook to make this work, but I know it will work without using Outlook. I think the Scrubbing / Cleaning software I purchased changed a setting with my email for safety purposes since there is risk in opening a file directly from email. Any suggestions on how to change back to how this worked previously - without having to download and save the file? Thanks for your help.
