when printing a page from Firefox,, normal default printer settings is "fit to page" which is fine for 99% of time But,, when i switch to scale 100%, this setting is ignored and the page prints still with the "fit to page"

Switching to use "Edge" as browser and doing the exact same print,,,, printout scales to 100% and is perfect

Took me while to isolate this problem and all attempts at firefox settings etc have no effect The issue is re-producible on multiple computers and multiple printers

Please advise otherwise i will have to continue to use MsEdge for this one task Rick L

Something has changed recently and I now cannot print any emails or anything from internet. My printer is working, has been verified.... probably a setting, but I am unable to find the problem

I like Firefox with one exception. The right-click print feature is missing in the drop-down menu. I can print from the Application Menu but the 'print' feature is missing using the mouse right-click menu. The right-click feature does work using other browsers. I have an Arch Linux installation with Plasma desktop. Software is always kept up-to-date. Sometime recently, Mozilla apps, Firefox nor Thunderbird, will no longer print, neither to pdf nor to network printer. These always worked before. Now, if even "print preview" is invoked, the dialog opens as a blank sub window with only the word "Print" in upper right, and at left center is "Preparing Preview with rotating time delay wheel, which never resolves. All other apps, including other browsers and mail handlers, will print without issue. I've tried the obvious checks with no success. Where could be the problem? Is there a helper app shared by Firefox and Thunderbird that could be the issue? The only potential remedy I have not yet tried is complete removal of both Firefox and Thunderbird, as that would cause re-configuration issues for both. It's necessary to press <ESC> to terminate the print window when it fails to respond. Screenshot attached...

Hi Win10 PC fully up to date. Changed my printer from a Xerox to an HP laser. In the control panel, set the HP as the default printer. MS Office prints on the HP without prompting. Firefox (134.0.2) always defaults to the Xerox. The HP is available in the drop down box. Restarting the PC or reloading Firefox makes no difference, Firefox always defaults to the (non existent) Xerox. MS Edge defaults to the HP. Any ideas? Regards - Andrew

I just switched to Floorp from Chrome. When I try to print a shipping label with my DYMO 450 labelwriter, I cannot get the label to fit properly as I can with Chrome. It is an issue with the print dialog in Floorp. It does not have the "fit to paper" selection in scale section of the dialog. This makes the label print not near as well as in Chrome. I will be switching back to Chrome unless this can be addressed. See the 2 screenshots attached to see the issue.

Every time I try to print multiple copies of a document (PDF or word, not printing a webpage), the printer instead shrinks the page size to around 1/4 size on normal letter paper.

I have checked all my printer settings, reset firefox printing settings, reset computer printing settings, and gone into all the printer menus directly. Even if the page size is set to 100% size, it will still print as a 1/4 image as long as I am trying to print multiple copies directly from the firefox browser (or Firefox PDF viewer).

I also tested it on multiple printers as well as single vs double sided. On Firefox, if you print multiple copies of any document (not screenshot or print-webpage) it will shrink it into a quarter sheet. This works against double sided and single sided.

As for the types of documents: this is for every .docx or .pdf form printed off of Firefox (even pre-existing .pdf documents opened in the Firefox pdf viewer), as long as I am printing multiple copies. If I open the same .docx or .pdf in Adobe, the issue does not arise.

Both me and another coworker have the same issue (both use firefox) and other browsers do not have the same shrinking issue while printing. I believe it started around a month ago?

I am trying to print a statement, In the text itself it is the correct font size; however, when I print it is so small I can hardly read it. How do I increase the size of the printed statement

I have always, for 15+ years, been able to use the system Print dialog box to create a PDF.

But as of updating Firefox to version 152.0 (aarch64), all buttons related to Saving a PDF, etc. send the document straight to the Printer to print a hard copy. There no longer appears to be any way to save a PDF.

Example scenario: 1.) Visit website 2.) Select Print (cmd-P, File > Print) and open the 1st print dialog box 3.) Select "Print using the system dialog..." 4.) Select PDF in the 2nd dialog box. 5.) You used to be able to save the PDF at this stage, opening Finder, naming the file, and choose the Save DIR. However, as of this latest update, even after the Finder File Name dialog box, hitting Save at that stage sends it to the printer to print a hard copy.

Pressing PDF, Save as PDF, Open in Preview, and Save as Adobe PDF all send the file directly to the Printer to save it.

I've got tons of receipts and things to save for work in PDF and FF was always great at this. What happened? Is this a feature or a bug? Any and all advice is welcomed.

Running macOS 26.5.1, M2 Pro, macbook pro.

I am use a Phomemo Thermal Label Printer for labels and packing slips. The print preview shows the whole page, but prints only a partial page and small print. Tried all setting but no difference.. See photos

With update 136.0, FF is requiring us to use a master password. I have one already set so my data is protected. I do not need a master password to open FF, but now I do.

STOP THIS MADNESS

I keep having to roll back to Version 149 to avoid having all drop down options printing. I've seen other support questions stating this has been fixed, but it continues to appear on every site I print from. It is happening whether I use Ctrl-Atl-P or a print icon on the website. It is printing every drop down option as a separate box AND it also prints every "right panel" index as a separate box at the top of the print page.

This is occurring in every version of Firefox after 149 that I try.
