when I try to click drop down menus on rpg mo, like settings/game options or anything in the gear drop down menu it wont let me click. I can't play rpg mo is there a reason for this like is it not html they are using but it works on windows? I am using suse linux leap.

Hello. I suspect there was a cyber attack on April 1 2024. All of a sudden,having problems crashing with more than 1 browser. My Brave browser would open,and then crash with multiple tabs that had been saved. My Mozilla history was cleared,and I want it back because I need to find all sites I have visited from time to time for logins etc,but they are now gone.I have tried importing all of my Brave history,login forms to Firefox,but not sure where to located them or where they would be stored.

I have never had to deal with this sort of thing before so i am saying that i may be somewhat noobish on this.I just want some expert instruction on what to do here,and how to do it.I,m not 100 percent sure if i can do it correctly on my own by googling this myself,then attempting it.Brave continues to open then crash right after,so I dont know whats going on there with the userdata folder in the appdata folders with regard to Brave. Everytime i try to install an older version of Brave,it says i already have a curent version of it,and i dont want to uninstall brave then reinstall it again,or not sure if i should do this. Over the past few weeks I've been unable to watch live videos on Firefox on Ubuntu 22.04. I thought it was just an issue with Twitch but I realized the problem also persists on live videos on Youtube and did some troubleshooting which didn't solve the issue. The only solution I was able to find for Ubuntu said to install ffmpeg, which I already had, but I made sure it was upgraded, refreshed Firefox, and still have the issue. Currently I'm on Firefox 121.0 but I've had this issue since before I updated it. I dual boot Ubuntu and Windows and am not having this issue when I boot Windows on the same computer and Firefox profile.

Hey there! After updating Firefox to 121.0.1 YouTube latest videos box not showing. It appears for a few seconds after page is loaded, but then just disappears. Checked on another computer -- the same issue, although in 120.0.1 works fine.

The Shortcuts saved on my Home Page have disappeared again. I cannot re-enter because they are not accepted. Why is this happening and how can it be fixed?? Very frustrated!

Firefox 121 Windows 10

Ever since I installed Firefox 123.0, when I execute a search on Yahoo.com, Firefox automatically opens up a new window or tab (depending upon how you have it set up in settings) when it didn't before. When I try this with Firefox using Google.com to search, it does NOT open up a new window/tab. But when I try it with Yahoo.com when using Google Chrome, it does NOT open up a new tab. So it would appear that the behavior is being caused by something in Firefox.

I tried making various changes in settings and Firefox about:config that were recommended in previous questions here, but they did not alter the behavior. I would like the behavior to return to simply performing the search within the same window (I can always scroll back to get the original page). Can anyone help?

This is an old question, but now over the time i can be more specific with this problem. What i know now in windows 10: - with firefox ESR sandboxie works fine all the time (now I use v 115.8.0); - with current firefox (v123) what happens is, after install current version, every time i open firefox, it works fine, but if i select "pause forcing programs", to change something in firefox, this means open firefox without sandboxie, now the first time i open firefox again sandboxie, it´s freeze, and can´t use for this moment now firefox sandboxie. Only works without sandboxie.

I am once again having issue with Hotmail and Firefox. It's working perfectly fine in Pale Moon, but it's gone totally blank in Firefox. It worked totally fine yesterday, but today I cannot access ANYTHING in Hotmail. Firefox says it's up to date, but usually when I start having issues with Hotmail, it's because Firefox needs to update. Please help fix this problem! All other websites work fine! Thank you!

only sometimes, when i get a new tab, from double click or anywhere else, appears a blue circle on the left side of the tab bar, it comes from the browser it gets bigger. ive just seen it from the corner of my eye. it just happens real quick

I turned my computer on; Mozilla wanted to update, so I said yes. Then I got this:

XUL Runner Error: Platform version '120.0.1' is not compatible with minVersion>=120.0 maxVersion<=120.0

And now I have no Mozilla. Restarting the computer didn't help. How do I get the old version back? I really absolutely must have all my bookmarks back....I use them for work!

For some reason when I try to download a screenshot of [this tweet] it fails every time; I tested it and it's just that tweet specifically. This has never happened before and I assume it's just a bug since copy-pasting still works. Any help with this?

Hello, On firefox 121, I'm able to launch URIs with arguments just fine. However on firefox 122, this isn't the case, and it does not understand the URI at all. Same URI btw.

pdf files fail to download in Firefox, but not other browsers. In particular these sites:

However, I can download from non-password protected sites like:

https://www.irs.gov/ https://www.ssa.gov/ https://www.sec.state.ma.us/

Downloads work in other browsers. I've checked various items in the settings and none of them help.

I like Firefox, but if it won't, I will go elsewhere.

I'm having the exact same problem as what was originally mentioned in this post from 4 years ago.

The "chosen solution" was to exit firefox through the hamburger menu, which I find to be absolutely ridiculous. You mean to tell me that even though I close EVERY OTHER APPLICATION either using the "X" close button or a custom keybinding that I've set for my own personal convenience, firefox requires me to exit through a menu every time in order to make it behave the way I've told it to? No. Absolutely not. If I tell firefox that I don't want it to save my last session, that means I DON'T WANT IT TO SAVE MY LAST SESSION. If I've deselected the "open previous windows and tabs" option in the settings, then under no circumstances should it be trying to open my previous windows and tabs.

I've tried the suggestion to change the value of browser.sessionstore.max_resumed_crashes from 1 to 0. The problem persists, I assume because firefox considers being closed using the close button to be a "crash", which is interesting.

I the other suggestion further down in the thread was to set browser.sessionstore.resume_from_crash from true to false, which will prevent firefox from recovering a session from a crash. This is hardly an appropriate solution. I want firefox to resume my last session if there is a legitimate (key word LEGITIMATE) crash, because my session was closed against my will due to something that went wrong. Being able to recover my last session in such a situation is nice. I do not, however, want firefox to resume my last session when I explicitly closed the last session myself, which would be the difference between a crash recovery and restoring a previous session. If no crash occurred, I don't need a crash recovery, and aside from a crash, I don't want my previous session to be restored.

Are there any solutions to this at all? Because this is one of the biggest reasons why I stopped using firefox. I want to come back to firefox because everything else that's worth using is either dog shit, or Chromium-based (i.e. also dog shit). However, I find this broken feature to be somewhat of a security issue. If a bad actor somehow gains access to my system, I don't want him to be able to open firefox and have access to my last browser session because I closed firefox using a keyboard shortcut instead of closing it through a goddamned menu.

previously FireFox was able to login Spotify normally, and was able to post comments on Reddit, but suddenly it lost both abilities, and with the extreme lag on other sites, although still functional, i can't understand why these both sites can't be logged into, or can't post any comments in them. it has been this case for the past month. so what's going on? i'm NOT going back to Chromium based browsers ever again! i am in FireFox for a permanent replacement!

Every time I enter a new password at https://secure.newegg.com/identity/signin, I click on Save but the browser does not save it! When I try to log in, Firefox always inserts the previous password that was saved. I have Reset the password twice on the website and have mentioned it to Newegg at least twice now and so far, I have not been able to resolve this problem.

This only occurs with the Newegg website. Why is this?

This is occurring on a computer running Windows 10 Pro version 22H2, Build 19045.3693

I request that this be resolved soon.
