Hi I'm on Ios I forgot a password so went to keychain access where I can normally find saved passwords. It wasn't there. I then went to Firefox preferences and found it there, for copying. There was no password required. That means if I leave my computer on and someone comes past, they can look at saved passwords, and that is a real security issue. I may stop using firefox because of this. Is there a setting to make it more secure? Cheers Martin

Currently running on Firefox version 123.0.1 and IOS 12.7.3.

I recently replaced the battery in my macbook pro which required a refresh of Firefox.

Now when printing from the browser the labels all print 3x5.

All of my settings are correct and when I save my labels as a pdf they print just fine.

Before the battery swap labels printed from the browser just fine. Labels show reduced formatting in print preview.

Need some help here please.

A friend posted a link in our WhatsApp chat about free flights. I went to access it via my Mac, but FF immediately showed a warning message. However I was able to clink on the link via my iPhone. Why did I not get the same warning message on the phone?

I really wish I had taken a screenshot. Time to learn!

youtube: Ad blockers violate YouTube's Terms of Service - i have no adblockers (extensions) on this NEW (installed 10/19/23) firefox on imac or on my macbookpro (which still allows me to watch youtube).

Lastpass extension/icon isn’t showing up in Firefox IOS. I’ve installed the latest versions of both. Firefox menu or settings doesn’t offer a plugins or extension link anymore. It seems Firefox has lost functionality in this regard. Please advise on how I can get the Lastpass extension working in the Firefox browser again.

Hi all, I'm having an issue that I've seen mentioned over several years and without a workable solution - I'm at the point of having to transfer all my browser usage to chrome and abandon my beloved firefox. The issue has been 'answered' by advanced users to tell people to 'inspect' which font is the issue then check local systems font book for corrupted/duplicate fonts: however this is not a satisfactory response. Context: see screen shot attached for what the jibberish looks like, and a point in the 'inspect' view that I believe (guessing) is involved. System: Firefox 112.0.2 (64-bit), MacOS 13.3.1 (a) (22E772610a) on Macbook Pro (13-inch, 2020, 2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5). This same websites do not have any issue on the same computer viewed on Chrome or Safari. Nor is there any problem on my iPhone on the iOS firefox browser.

Firstly this is not a user-friendly solution for most people, I'm afraid. Opening the inspect viewer is mindboggling for anyone who doesn't code and even for people who do some programming but not for websites (like me), it isn't exactly self-explanatory. I think I've managing to find examples that indicate 'Roboto' seems to be consistently involved in the display issue. Secondly, the step for 'fixing' the font that is the culprit - my local system indicates that all fonts are valid and there are no duplicates. I haven't installed manually Roboto as I'm uncertain where to 'safely' get the font from and my computer is owned and managed by my workplace - with overly strict administration/security rules so if I f-up a download of something dodgy my IT service will blacklist me and revoke my admin access... ** which would mean I'd be unable to do my job!**. I wondered if perhaps there is some security setting due to that, which stops website from loading the fonts they choose? From previous 'solutions' it said that having Firefox preference set to "allow websites to choose their own fonts..." should mean the websites can load as needed. If indeed I must manually download fonts for each and every instance that Firefox fails to display text legibly that is equivalent to Firefox being unusable. I'm clearly frustrated and it's because I love FIrefox and the ethos behind it all so leaving for Chrome would be very sad indeed! Help and a solution for normal users would be so very much appreciated. Also where can I properly lodge this issue with peeps who fix things? There are issues of this kind going back years and for both Windows and Mac Systems so it's not a one-off problem but a recurring one! Can someone help me find my old bookmarks that I have had for years? I followed directions posted but nothing is working. All of my history was cleared also. The toolbar folders are there but everything is empty

Hi, By accident I changed a setting somewhare and now I can't share screen when using Google meets. I use a MacBook Air M2 2022 and run version Ventura 13.4 and Firefox version 113.0.2. I have googled the problem and had help from Apple support so I have already; - checked settings in my Mac - checked settings in Google Meet - deleted cash memory in Firefox - rebooting my computor - run Google Meet in Safari and screen sharing works

I don't dare to reinstall Firefox because then I will lose lots of data. What have I not done that this community could help me understand.

I am guessing this is a settings issue, but I cannot find a solution. I cannot see the social sharing icons on my website when in Firefox on my Mac. I can see them in Safari. What's the deal?

Hi all, I have an Adobe account and regularly use Adobe e-sign to send out contracts. I have recently updated Firefox and since then, when I try and send out PDFs for e-sign via Adobe Acrobat Reader, it doesn't get past the upload of the document stage. When I do it on the web browser, I can log in to my account fine, but as soon as I try and view the PDF I want to send for signature, it tells me that:

   Click on the Firefox menu.
   Select Preferences.
   Select the Privacy & Security panel.
   Select Standard to enable cookies.

I have followed all the above but it doesn't make any difference. I have also turned off Enhanced Tracking Protection for that site and it worked once, but then stopped working again.

I'm on a MacBook Pro.

When I open a new tab this website opens up instead of a blank tab. "https://search.rspark.com/?ytm"

I've set my new tabs to open a blank page, and I have the current version.

When I select "Add Bookmark" from the Bookmark dropdown menu on the menu bar, the popup menu to select the location (folder) to place the bookmark quickly flashes open and closed. The bookmark is created, but it is created in the last place that a bookmark was added. If I am still on that tab and I try to use "Edit Bookmark" from the menu bar to open the pop up it also just flashes up and closes.

If I move away from that tab to another one, and then come back to it, the "Edit Bookmark is not even listed as an option."

Can you please assist.

When I add certificate exceptions, such as for my router's self-signed certificate, Firefox forgets the exception at seemingly random intervals. Often this happens in several days. In one case it was overnight. This has been going since at least early 2023, probably a year.

In noticed Firefox also forgets settings like "allow popups" set on a site (like on Gmail for example), but not necessarily at the same time as certificate exceptions are forgotten. Other settings don't seem to be changed or forgotten.

These problems occur on different Macs using the same Mozilla account. Refreshing Firefox has made no difference.

I have the latest versions of firefox installed on both my iMac and my MacBook Air. Both computers running the same IOS. Both Firefox versions have exactly the same preference settings. The iMac gets an occasional 502 Bad Gateway notification and will not go to that website. The MacBook Air does not get these issues. Both computers are running the same anti-virus software.

This message started happening 3-4 weeks ago and is baffling as you cannot get to that webpage on the iMac but at the same time I get to it fine on the MacBook Air.

What is causing this issue??

Microsoft Excel is no longer listed i Applications as download option. All files downloaded automatically are stored as Microsoft Word files, not just excel files. I can change individual files manually to .xlsx which is a nuisance, but this also happens with Zip files (7Zip) and I am at a loss as to how to change them when they are downloaded as a Word document.

This does not happen on a newer MacBook Pro, but I need it to work with the older version. The older Mac is MacBook Pro 9.2 with MacOS Catalina Version 10.15.7 Firefox is version 103.0
