This past week I started getting the Did Not Connect: Potential Security Issue warning when I tried to access my email at Comcast.net. I also got the warning on my banks website when I tried to transfer funds, something I had done many times before. This seems to have started after "upgrading" to version 78.7.1 of FireFox. However, I got the same sort of error using Safari: "Safari can't verify the identity of the website xfinityconnect.email.comcast.net" The certificate shows it is issued by "AVG untrusted CA" from the country "CZ" and State/Province "Brno". Comcast told me to just trust their certificate and I was able to get to my email account, but I am getting the same warning from PNC Bank's website when I try to transfer funds. This REALLY has me worried. Can someone tell me if this is a sign I've been hacked? How can I fix this so I can again transfer funds from my checking account to other banks?

When I opened Firefox I received a "news message" that makes no sense to me. How can I revert Firefox to its former usefulness? There is something about the former installation of Firefox being undisturbed, but I cannot find that installation. Apparently this has something to do with sync-ing my desktop Firefox with other installations -- I've less than zero interest in sync-ing.

What happened to the bookmarks I had stored in the bookmark bar? How do I get those back?

I'm on an older iMac using OS 10.10.5 Yosemite. I can't upgrade due to work.

Currently I'm running Firefox 78.3.1esr (64bit) and I'm having trouble seeing some websites correctly (see attached screenshot for ebay for example). Sites also take a longer time than usual to render.

Is there anything I can do to make Firefox work well again?

When I try to close a tab, if I place my cursor over the X icon and click, nothing happens. If I carefully hover the tip of my cursor over the very bottom of the (invisible) box around the X, the box will turn darker grey and I can finally click and close the tab. I'd estimate the grey box around the X is 1cmx1cm, but only the bottom 1-2mm elicit a response.

I have restarted Firefox and my computer. My browser version is up to date. I am not using any extensions. I am on a 2009 Mac running Yosemite.

For about a month I'm unable to log into my Yahoo Mail account from Firefox on my Mac. All the proper screens appear and I fill them in, but when I hit "login" Firefox hangs. I see the circle thingy rotating indefinitely.

I know this is a Firefox issue because I can access my mail from another browser (e.g. Safari). I think it also relates specifically to Macs because I've never had this issue on my PC.

Firefox is the latest version (78.2.0esr (64-bit)). The Mac is a Mac Pro Mid-2012 running Yosemite 10.10.5.

Please help me someone. For awhile now when I am on Yahoo's home page 75% of what is on the page will not open up. It shows that there is something there like a empty space with nothing in it, and just nothing ever happens. Pretty much any other webpage is fine but Yahoo is a problem... What gives?

This is not a question. It is a complaint. I can't see anywhere else to lodge it.

I am on a mac mini. I keep getting "Secure connection failed and Firefox did not connect" on secure government sites and others that I know are just fine. I'm sick of it. This did not happen till recently and I have not changed my settings or preferences for over a year.

When I get this message these days, guess what I do - I switch browsers. I would like to keep using Firefox. I like it. However, I get this message on too many sites to put up with it any longer. If it isn't adjusted in the next update, I will strongly consider switching browsers permanently.

Even Safari allows me to continue to the site - certificate or no certificate. Blocking me from the site is ridiculous. Fix it.

Firefox explains how to save a login/password but doesn't tell you what to do if you accidentally decline that feature when it asks. Every time I go to my online intuit account I have to manually enter the log in info because I accidentally declined to have Firefox save the login info when it asked me. I looked in Firefox Preferences>Privacy & Security>Logins and Passwords and finally in Exceptions & Logins. It's not in either of those places. It shows logins that I DO have but it doesn't tell me how to add logins for websites that I declined saving them in the past. When I go to the website Firefox won't ask me anymore if I want to save the login... AAHH! Help please?

The majority of the sites on today's history are attempts to log in to a past employer, attempted Gmail admin log ins, the employers ticketing platform, searches for flights, visits to graphic novel sites, etc..NONE OF WHICH ARE ME! I though this was supposed to be a secure browser on an iMac? WTF is going on and how can I stop it?

No tabs will open except the support or the three lines. 45 tabs open and none accessible. DO I just have to change to Safari and erase everything made by mozilla? What is the other name for the three lines? Do we really need the three lines, @ is easier to refer to, or * or £ or a thousand other characters all unused on all our keyboards. How should I create the three lines symbol? Has this been chosen so that no one can even talk about the three lines in a similar way that androod has the wank symbol for non-gay access to the root directory?

I get a non-secure connection message back. It is quite strange since the https certificate is correctly installed.

Moreover, for your further information, I get this message while using Firefox on Mac, weheras everything is working correctly on Firefox for Windows.

I'm using 66.0, and I received an update this morning. I'm on the Paypal website looking at the Summary. I can go to the Paypal funds page and the Paypal credit page, which are both internal to Paypal. However, I am unable to go the Paypal Mastercard, which should take me to a third-party bank, Synchrony. I get an error message "Looks like this action is not supported. Please return and report this error so that we can support it in the future. (invalid client_id or redirect_uri)". I've restarted Firefox in Safe Mode, but no dice. I've refreshed Firefox, no dice. Any ideas? Third-party cookies? It worked up until today. Also, the PayPal site works just fine on Safari.

Since updating to version 66.0.1, I keep getting signed out of accounts. I have been signed out from bank accounts websites, email accounts and various periodicals I subscribe to. It's happened on numerous occasions. I am able to sign back into them without any issues but it's a nuisance especially when I go to check email.
