Hi there. Whenever I open a new tab, it crashes, meaning that the rest of the browser keeps working fine but it is unable to load the contents of about:newtab and replaces them with a crash error. I have been tinkering around with the settings and found out it only happens when "shortcuts" is turned on for New tab. If turned off, New tab loads normally. Full disclosure: I am using Nightly on a computer nearly (but not totally) supported by Windows 11. No Nightly experiments that I think should interfere with a new tab are turned on. firefox has just automatically updated when using private browsing all dropdown menus appear as white text on a grey background this is harder to read i want black text on a white background

After downloading FF 106.0 A Firefox Icon appeared on the left side of my menu bar that won't go away and is taking up space that I need. It's guiding me thru a sign in page to syn my devices. I DON"T WANT TO SYNC my devices. I just want to get rid of that icon. When I try to sign in it tells me it will send me a 6 digit code and I have to enter it in 5 mins. I never received the code. I don't care if I ever get the code. Please tell me how to get rid of the icon w/o going thru the process of the "tutorial" Thank you!

exclude pinned tabs from "List all Tabs"

This happened before and it is really annoying. All of the pinned tabs are now on the list of tabs dropdown where the non-pinned tabs should show. It is hard to work this way. Help!

I just opened a pop up that you sent - asking to choose a colour. I had no idea it would change the look of Firefox. Please could you instruct me how to change it back to how it was.

This green is not OK.

Firefox view was added with the newest version, and in an impulse I decided to remove it from the toolbar. I would like to put firefox view back in the toolbar but can't find a setting for this, how do I do this?

Firefox version: v106.0.3 OS: Windows 11 Pro 22H2 build 22623.875

I have 5 different profiles with different number of tabs and add-ons installed. 3 out of 5 crashes, 2 works. The problematic profiles crash 5-6 times on launch, regardless whether Firefox was started in "normal" mode or safe mode. I submitted all crash reports I found at about:crashes. Here are the IDs:

I see various DLLs related to a program called ExplorerPatcher in the reports. I've been using it for months and I've had no crashes with pre 106.x.x versions.

Last few days , my laptop( windows 10) system got hanged for some reason. Then second time I got the message on my laptop , that Software Mozzila Firefox got crashed. It had stopped working for few minutes then I restarted it. 1) Has it happened to my System? 2) or even others got the same experience? 3) How to start PC when windows stopped working Suddenly. 4)Was the Mozzila Firefox failure / crash, was the reason, behind PC not working during first time? 5) On laptop a message appears , to upgrade Operating system to Windows 11( currently it is windows 10) from MS. What is the suggestion from Mozzila/

Dear sir ,

My firefox browser keeps crashing 7-10 times everyday . Sometimes it forces me to reset firefox then login back to my google accounts and extensions . It is very frustrating to login everyday specially google accounts as it requires 2-Step verification .

I feel nostalgic using firefox because I have been using firefox since my childhood started from 10 years ago when I first start browsing in the internet . I have not moved to any other browsers ever since . It might found to be a bit funny that I grew some emotions using this great browser and I believe the issue can be fixed .

If the crashing issue is not fixed then I am afraid that I may move to using other browsers and that looks a lot easier than facing the issue .

I am using firefox for windows on a 64bit windows 11 pro . System info screenshot will be added with this report . Please consider my situation in a bit serious matter and hopefully I will get your response asap .

Don't mean to complain about such a trivial thing, but on macOS the new icon for Firefox as of 106 just doesn't look right. It was PERFECT before this. Yes, I know I can copy and paste the old one into the new and it's problem solved, but figured I'd post here to see what everyone else thinks. Again, it's not the end of the world, but it just doesn't look right.

My laptop needed a refresh and all data needed to be erased. Thinking Firefox has synced all my bookmarks and settings I happily reset my laptop but now I just installed Firefox again and logged in but there is no settings, no bookmark! What happened to the bookmarks? Is syncing really reliable?

crash reports - I KNOW you asked for 5 or 10, but this may show the SCALE of the issue (BTW, I'm on Manjaro / KDE, all software up to date as of 11/1/22 17:30)

In shutting down and restarting the computer yesterday, it seems that an upgrade, or some sort of change, took place with the Firefox program. Now the tabs are a bright, loud orange in color, causing the appearance of individual tabs to melt together. In addition, the scroll bar is a tomato soup orange. I just want to return to the former eye-friendly colors, which never drew my attention. Now I almost dread having to log on it is so severe. Please tell me exactly what steps are needed to return to the former palge look. Thank you.

Hi!

I hardly use tabs, and I have a widescreen notebook. So one of the most important features a browser must have is not to waste vertical space.

Unfortunately, Firefefox still has always tab bar open even if there is only one tab.

There was a css code to overcome this problem. Unfortunately, it does not work with FF 106 anymore (another one stopped working with 103). It always shows a "+" sign and uses vertical space.

1. ) How can I get rid of the tab bar? Is there a working css code or is it a feature now of FF? 2.) BTW, also one of the most important addons for me "I don't care about cookies" is not working anymore 3.) How can I fully stop updates? They are causing far too many problems 4.) I already know that css and addons are not officially supported by Mozilla.
