My job requires searching for often a lot of images on Google. I am not sure if this is a Google of a Firefox problem. In this past week there has been a new information frame appear. Before when one clicked on an image it would be highlighted amid the search grid with some associated information (original site, image size etc). Now this pops out as a separate panel to the right of my browser screem. Due to the quick way I need to work, this is cumbersome and annoying.
Also if I right clicked and opened an image in a new tab, it would open with the image filling two-thirds of the screen on the left, which gave a decent view of it. On the right hand panel would be the information about site, title, caption etc. Now all of this is squished into a portrait sized panel that looks as though it has been designed for a tablet or phone. It also means with each image I am having to conduct an additional action to right click to expand to full size so I can actually get a decent view of what it is because it has been so squished down to only medium size by all the other data.
My question is this. Up until a few days ago this panel was not there. It would occasionally appear sometimes, especially if I was logged into a Google account but mostly not and would be gone next time I searched. From my investigation of this it is something that appears with some browsers and not others. If this is something that does/doesn't appear in Firefox, how do i make it go away?
My question is is how do I make this pop-up panel go away and just get the regular old image highlight? Much easier and less messing around to use, not to mention actually offered a better and clearer view of what the image actually was.

I want to perform google searches, but Firefox has blocked me for the past couple of hours. This is the message that I get when I attempt a google search:
"The owner of www.google.com has configured their website improperly. To protect your information from being stolen, Firefox has not connected to this website.
This site uses HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) to specify that Firefox may only connect to it securely. As a result, it is not possible to add an exception for this certificate."

I have windows 7 and firefox 63.0.1 and cannot get on google.com because of a security issue. The error is as follows:
www.google.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is unknown. The server might not be sending the appropriate intermediate certificates. An additional root certificate may need to be imported. Error code: SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER
I uninstall firefox and resinstall and it works fine for a short period of time. Then without warning, google no longer works and I get the security issue. I have uninstalled and reinstalled 4 times now and it is still doing the same thing. Works for a while and then not.
I also tried using version 62 of firefox but that also exhibited the same issue.
I researched this issues and there are all sorts of attempted fixes that supposedly get rid of this issue which I have attempted to no avail.
Will someone please help me understand how to fix this issue. I use google and gmail all the time and this is becoming a real issue. Your help is much appreciated.
Is there a similar performing alternative to Google's Widevine on Firefox? If not, would I find one on a different browser?
Since I must add something in this box I'll just explain that Google is the most egregious violator of privacy and I want nothing to do with them

While to most, stopping Google Ads showing up in search is fine, I need ads to show. They are not since upgrading to FireFox 62(64bit). Windows 7. Tried to disable "block pop-ups", turned security to minimum. Also ran FF with addons disabled (safe mode). Still no ads. Older versions of FF on my other PCs still show ads. Suggestions please. Thanx.
