I am having trouble with opening web pages that I always use. Since the last two updates of Firefox I cannot open any web pages except youtube and amazon. Can anyone shed any light on this or is anyone experiencing the same problem? Any help will be appreciated.

I have quite a few addons installed such that now the address box is too small to see the url of the website I'm on. I'd like to know if I can organise all of my addons into a small dropdown menu to the right of the search box field? A simple dropdown arrow that when I pres it it shows all my addons in one organised place..

I can't find an addon that does this, I don't want to move all my addons to the bookmarks area as that is already full of foldered organised bookmarks..

I do not use tabs. I find tabs inconvenient and confusing. I find the browser opening things in tabs when I don't want or expect it; I then close the window, losing my chain of browsing. Tabkiller solved the problem but you stopped supporting it. How do I permanently diable tabbed browsing?

Chrome's updates are perfect because you forget about them, but know that it's always up-to-date. I turned off Firefox automatic updates because:

1. Whenever there's an update I have to wait 10 seconds just to open my browser. Many times when I'm in a rush and I need to open Firefox quickly, I get angry that I have to wait for it to install updates.

2. I hate having to remove the unresponsive Firefox taskbar icon, go into my start menu, find Firefox, and pin it back on my taskbar EVERY time there's an update. If I right-click Firefox on the taskbar, it says Firefox (25) because of all the times I had to do this.

However, with automatic updates off, there is always an update pop-up on the top-right for me to manually update, but I don't want to update because of the second reason mentioned above. So no matter what I do, I always have to deal with the idea of an update. This is poor design, and it drives me nuts sometimes.

Is there any way to fix this?

I set up a Linux OS on my computer and wanted to export all my login data from Firefox Quantum in Windows to it. I tried looking everywhere for what to do, but can't find anything. I've tried syncing my Firefox account, copying then pasting everything from my Firefox profile in Windows into the Firefox profile in Linux, however it only imported my bookmarks and none of my login information. Is there a way that I am missing or may have overlooked that will allow me to export all the login information so I don't have to reconfigure everything?

When I reopened Firefox 60 all of my Bookmarks were gone 10 minutes after I closed Firefox. I tried to restore them from the Import and Backup Tab but was shown a message "Unable to process the backup file". This message appeared on every attempt trying all of 15 backups on the list. Google search led me to more useless information as to how to solve the problem. I then found all my old .jsonlz4 file and tried to restore them using the "choose file" option on the Import and Backup Tab. This did not work an I do not know why. Can anyone tell me how to restore my Bookmarks? Why doesn't the Firefox Restore Tab work?

I have a mysterious grey vertical line seen across one website, only on Firefox. Does anyone know what causes this? Latest Firefox installed, shows up on both regular and developer version.

With a recent update I started getting these pop up messages when I visit a website that say "According to WHOIS information this domain was registered on..." They appear to be associated with the "show site information" icon in the address bar. Can be very annoying as I am just visiting sites and having to constantly dismiss them. Is there some way to eliminate this?

when I open a new tab, there is no option to show the other tabs from my various synced devices. there should be. I know how to access them through the synced tabs menu item but I want to see them right there, on a new tab, so I can select the one I want and open it.

I am using firefox developer v60 aurora platform and for some reason when i echo the user agent string in php it is returning:

'Mozilla/5.0 (iPad; CPU OS 10_3_3 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/603.3.3 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/10.0 Mobile/14G5037b Safari/602.1' I am confused as to why is would return this string as I am using windows7 pro. Is there an option in settings to change browser engine like in safari. Thanks

About an hour ago Nightly crashed and since then it doesn't load any pages whatsoever. I've already performed a clean install (uninstall, remove profile, reinstall, refresh) but it still doesn't work. FF60.0 works fine. I was testing a VPN while it crashed, so I think that could be related.

EDIT: The latest update fixed this problem. I still don't know what caused it, but it's working again.

Up until a couple weeks ago right clicking on a pdf and selecting to take a screenshot was doing just that - allowing me to take a screenshot of the pdf in the page. Since then whenever I try to do the same, I get an error saying that this is not a standard web page. Any advice?

This happens on Steam videos and Youtube. I think it happens elsewhere too. This has been happening for 6 months or more.

If I have Firefox maximised and watch a video in YouTube and then double click on the video and it goes full-screen (not browser F11 full-screen) then I see the arrows in the first picture in the video window. This happens on Steam vids when full-screen also.

If I then make Firefox go full-screen mode (F11) then double click on a YouTube (or Steam) video to make it full screen I see no navigation arrows.

Any idea how to fix this?

I have tried disabling all the add-ons and restarting but still does it.
