For example, if I want to sign into gmail, it asks for the username. As soon as I type in the first letter, it gives me a selection which it stored. Once I made a mistake and typed my password in there which also begins with the same letter. How do I clear the list? Actually, how can I set Firefox so that it doesn't automatically store that information.

I am trying to access the bigfish games website but am unable to get in as 'google-analytics' keeps coming up. There is initial success but then it goes to a blank screen and says it is waiting for 'google-analytics'

since 3 days when i click on thumbnails in facebook's photo albums i cant see any pics. i tried with google chrome and i there's no problem. i use ubuntu 9.04 i havent done anyth else (programs installations) and i can post my errors taked from console and and the addons could it be sth related with javascript or flash?

On sign in, there is a box for usernames. these names are stored, unlike the password. There are several usernames stored by firefox in my computer. How do I remove those names that I no longer use? There is a solution that says "When you see one, use the cursor-down key to highlight it and hit DELete. " But this does not work with Leopard on a Mac

I use Firefox with Google. Trying to remove searches from Google search bar. Their help doesn't . This doesn't happen with Safari. How can I remove past searches? I tried to remove history from the right hand corner search box and it worked. If you can help, great

When I open a bookmark, the bookmark title from the list in the sidebar does not stay highlighted. It used to but doesn't anymore. Do you know why? Can I change an option to get that feature back?

Every time Firefox opened

on trying to upgrade firefox from v3.0.8 to v3.6.3 the bookmarks menu at the top of the page with "File. Edit. View .History.Tools and Help has disappeared. It re-appears when I revert to v3.0.8.

My computer has a virus and I have to reformat my computer. I can not get to the internet with this computer and trying to find where the bookmarks are saved on the hard drive.

The instructions advise to drag firefox to image of Applications folder, but I can't find the firefox image. 2 show up on my desktop, but neither look like the one in the image and neither will move to applications folder or to dock. HELP!

Access to my gmail account is fine with Safari or Explorer. Firefox denies access to that same account. I use Firefox for everything else, and switching to Safari for my email account is annoying.

I want to run Firefox on linux system that will locally display some monitoring type information. The problem is, that the display is not physically accessible (i.e. no mouse) and so I have to start/stop Firefox remotely. I thing I know how to start it by "firefox -P...". The problem seems to be how to kill it cleanly. What I really need is a command line version of File->Exit mouse click. Any help welcomed

Added an automatic update to the Ebay sidebar and when I started up this morning, the sidebar is gone and clicking on the desktop Ebay sidebar icon does nothing to bring it back. Help

Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (p) isn't associated with any program.

I have firefox 3.0.8 and am trying to download to a 3.6 version, but I'm told i don't have sufficient privileges. What does this mean? Can I do anything to fix it?
