Dear Anyone.

I've got Firefox 125.0.3 - but ALL Firefoxes have ALWAYS done this!

I've got 12 gig RAM. I've been browsing for - say - a couple of hours or so, I look at how much RAM I've got spare and it's down to about 2 gig. So I close Firefox via Task Manager and all my RAM comes back. Then I REOPEN Firefox and all the old tabs are restored - but this time around, hardly using any memory! Which tells me the hewge memory munch was unnecessary the time before.

Firefox has ALWAYS done this from day 1. Nobody's ever fixed it, through all these updates. I've got the latest version and it's STILL memory-munching. How do you stop it? It's just annoying because you can be using other software that crashes because it runs out of memory, because Firefox has munched all its memory for no reason.

This is just a question, I'm Asperger's, I sometimes sound like I'm asking a leading/angry question but I'm not. (Not this time anyway!) Is there a workaround for this memory-munching problem, is it ever going to be fixed or is it too deeply embedded into Firefox's programming TO be fixed?

I choose a new theme. After a while, I close Firefox. When I start Firefox again, my chosen theme appears briefly, then the default theme replaces it. Why? FYI: it doesn't happen with just one theme.

Instagram page won't load. Doesn't load in Edge either. The proxy setting is off. It was loading yesterday, then today it won't. No malware detected by Mcafee or Spyhunter. My account is working fine from my phone.

My sign-in ID is aaaan email that has been cancelled. As long as they don't asl me to retrieve any codes oranything it works of course. If anything is sent to that email I can not retrieve it. Usually kepping me out of Fire fox. I need to see if amyonr know how to change your sign-in ID>

when i amon a webpage& click to go to home screen takes about 10 minutes & i have hi speed inernet & th slide bar on side dont go to top when changing pages getting worse please fix it

I'm having trouble using my bank's website. Sometimes I can't log on (error messages) or I can log on and can't use certain features. The bank is Regions. The site works with other browsers. Is there some setting on the latest Firefox that needs to be adjusted? The articles I've read don't help. Thanks.

Why are my bookmarks all of a sudden not working anymore.

Selecting the saved bookmark from DudkDuckGo or Firefox does not load the page.

Did i change a setting accidentally/

Did Mozilla change the functionality?

What's going on?

Note: I can access the page by going directly to its URL ... but what's the point of bookmarks if that is necessary?

There's also no way to add an exception? Just completely broken at the moment. I have to disable OCSP stapling to get it to work at all, which is less then ideal.

Currently using 125.0.3 (64-bit). I checked for newer versions of firefox and it's not saying anything. Chrome and Edge work fine. Encountered this on an android tablet with firefox, and went to desktop and hit the same thing.

When switching from one tab to another, streaming stops and video won't play in background. I've tried all the main fixes suggested I've found. Nothing worked. Please help! Will be using alternate browser until fixed as it's too unwieldy for me to use this way.

I just started using my new MacBook Air, and when I try to use the trackpad to open read Gmail or click the calendar icon on Firefox, it doesn't respond. It works on Safari.

As per the photo, I try to click the calendar icon to open up my calendar and nothing happened.

Firefox currently does not prevent macOS from going to sleep when a download is active.

How do I know this? 1) I downloaded a file from the internet. 1.5 GB in size. 2) I opened a Terminal window in macOS, and ran `pmset -g`. 3) I searched for "sleep" in the "Currently in use:" list, and checked if Firefox was listed. It was not.

Is there a setting that I can enable that I can download to make this happen?

I think extensions don't have the capability to prevent macOS from going to sleep. Correct me if I'm wrong.

A quick fix for now would be the `caffeinate`-command in the Terminal-app, but I think this is very resource-wasteful.

So for some reason I have two versions of Firefox on my computer (Windows 64 bit), I am logged in and using one of them, and the other is just there. I could log in there but I don't want to, I just want to get rid of it. Links from Telegram open in it, creating a second Firefox window instead of opening in another tab in the already open Firefox window, which is very inconvenient. The windows list of programs which can be uninstalled only has one Firefox (I've tried deleting and reinstalling, it doesn't help). But when I try to choose a default browser I get 2 icons to choose from which look the same (see screenshot). What the heck? How do I manage this!

Just transferred from old MacBook Pro to new one. Successful migration except: The icon for the WE Transfer service doesn't show up in the narrow black ribbon at the top of the Firefox page - instead there's a blue exclamation point in a blue circle. Clicking the blue circle/exclamation point takes me to the WE Transfer page. What do I need to do to get the actual icon to replace the blue circle/exclamation point? Thanks in advance.

I have been using Firefox on my Mac for years with no problems. Recently, however, I have been having trouble running YouTube. I get to the correct page for the video I want but the video itself does not show up, just the background for the page. Any idea what I might have done to create this problem?

I have a 2019 Macbook Pro 16" and whenever I share a FireFox window on facetime, I'm unable to stop sharing it until I end the Facetime call. Even then, the sharing screen notification still appears in the top right in the menu bar and I'm unable to share my screen for future Facetime calls unless I restart my laptop (thus removing the problem). Is this a known issue, and is there a way to fix it other than restarting my laptop?
