Basically when watching a stream on Twitch.tv that is being broadcasted in fps above 60, meaning that the encoder uses 120 fps there are tons of skipped frames. It basically never stops skipping the frames. Even after reaching ridiculous numbers like 10000 skipped frames it just never stops. After enabling the following use flags "layers.d3d11.force-warp: true" and "gfx.swap-interval.egl: true" the problem subsides, skipped almost completly disappear. I think if I turn off hardware acceleration it prevents the frames from skipping too.

By the way I will attach my hardware info down below: OS: Windows 11 22H2 CPU: 13900k GPU: 3060 TI

I'm not sure if this behaviour is expected or normal but it's kind of weird. Maybe it's a problem with my hardware and not a software problem. I'm hoping it's not a faulty gpu or something. Would be nice if somebody could reassure if this is a problem with my gpu or not.

Flags tested: "gfx.swap-interval.egl" "layersd3d11.force-warp" and turning hardware accel on / off "layers.acceleration.force-enabled" also "layers.prefer-opengl".

Just updated my firefox browseron my windows laptop and lost my sync to my iphone 12. I followed the directions to set it up but my iphone does not have "sync and save data" in the menu of the IOS firefox app. Any advice?

I am developing an Angular App which uses a web-socket for backend communication. Interestingly, whenever I open the app in firefox (localhost:4200) the navigation bar breaks. I can't change the URL manually anymore, but every time I submit a changed URL it first redirects to the specified page but then immediately overwrites the navigation with the previous URL.

Example:

1. Call http://localhost:4200/
2. Sometimes the first additional navigation works, but afterwards all manual changes using the address bar will result in the behavior shown in the below image.

Steps I have taken to narrow down the error cause:

• I ruled out a device specific issue, since the problem occurs on both my machines.
• It is specific to firefox, since both edge and chrome work perfectly fine
• I don't think it is related to the angular router and the way I use it, since it would be quite weird that a website could force a user to stay on it.
• It is not related to the Angular CLI since the error also occurs when I deploy the angular with nginx.

I haven't found any hints on what might cause this behavior or even how to debug the network traffic further to maybe see what is causing the navigation override.

Why is firefox that set as my default browser having an issue of with my keyboard key strokes? When I type out a letter key, it shows it in a different key alphabet? For example, if I type “a” on the keyboard is will show a complete different random key like “5” or “d”. I am very comfortable and love using your browser. And would want to continue doing so without changing to another.

- A practical example is the following attached screenshot. I have typed the word “qwerty” on your browser but instead I get displayed on your browser “dfghjk”. - Very important to know is that I am running “ZoneAlarm Extreme Security NextGen” Anti-keylogger. That is configured to block programs that secretly record keystrokes (see attached document). Why is it only Firefox that is affected by this? - I have also contacted Zonealarm and they instructed me to contact you about this seeing that this issue only happens with your browser and not with any other program. I can type in Word or outlook or any other App without issues. ( - Like you can see from my other attached screenshots, it is not only your browser (firefox) that I have installed and working with as my default browser that is the only one having issues. The other browsers (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Brave) are all working perfectly without this issue/problem. But only your browser that I made as the default browser that is the only one having this problem. - A good example, I typed this whole message using outlook without an issue/problem of this sort (see attached document).

Can you please look into this and provide me with answers on how to resolve this.

Hi, Can I choose what short cuts are displayed?

Right now it looks like FireFox is putting the most recent visits there  i.e It displays 4 different icons of Wordpress.[I was working on  my blog] Prior versions let me choose which ones  I wanted and they stayed on the page. For example I had short cuts to my emails and bank along with Facebook, Wordpress etc. I was/am using the one row choice. i tried using the recent activity choice but only 2 showed up even though I had viewed several sites.  I *think* I am using the latest version.

I got the notification that there was an update available...clicked on about Firefox and it is trying to download a new browser at 90mb...why is this and how do I get it to stop???

I cleared all history from my browser history and no I can not get pages to load. Or if they do open, I am unable to click on any section. The only exception is that Firefox seems to work normally if I use Private Browsing.

I have System Mechanic Ultimate Defense from iolo on my windows pc. When I updated firefox the password manager, called ByPass, was no longer on firefox and I could not put it back on. When I tried to launch it from System Mechanic I got a message that said - 404- page you are looking for could not be found.

I'm using Firefox 116.0.1 on Ubuntu linux. I'm not using a VPN, antivirus, a proxy or any kind of http filtering.

When attempting to load a certain website I get the message: "An error occurred during a connection to www.[website].org. PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR"

Google results tells me that firefox throws this error when it can't resolve a safe SSL/TLS connection to the website.

The thing is, I don't care. I'm aware of the risks of browsing on a website with outdated or non-existent certs.

How do I get firefox to drop this security measure?

Hello How i can uninstall you "upgrades" , as since i updated Firefox i have to logon to every fucking account !!! I used You browser like 10 if not more years... and You are now worse than MS or Blizzard !

On the new tab page, there is an option to dismiss links to frequent site, which will make them no longer show up on the new tab page. However, I cannot find any option to reverse this. How do I restore which pages show up on the new tab page to default, before I dismissed any?
