After updating to 114.0.1 the print orientation for pdf's has disappeared. PDF's we used to print often now come out with the wrong orientation and have to be printed with the system dialog instead.

I see this issue posted in other questions but none of the solutions given works. For one, the click on items you talk about don't exist, like the "Firefox Options and/or Preference" is no where to be found, top left click on Firefox Icon or top right bars. The right click button does not work in your browser at all. I don't have this issue on my work computer or my work laptop and they are running the same version, 1140.1. I am use to: Right clicking Firefox icon in tool bar and a menu coming up that allows for several choices. Right clicking in the top bar with page tabs and being able to put the bookmark menu bar up permanently (the main reason I use Firefox, ease of accessing bookmarks which Chrome and IE make ridiculously difficult}. How do I get functionality of my right click back?

Lately for the last 3ish days my YouTube connection speed on Firefox and only Firefox has been terribly slow. So slow that it can't even watch normal HD content. But not always, sometimes it does work at normal internet speeds which is so weird. I have around 500 Mbps download speed internet so I know it's not the issue. The picture with the slow download speed is on Firefox and the fast/normal download speed is on Chrome. Sometimes in a private window Firefox runs at normal speed but not always, I don't think it's an extension issue.

Basically in my online banking with chevron to login button is grayed out and won't allow me to login, including comcast account Continue button is grayed out. This is an urgent matter because I can't get comcast online application for new account completed.

I cant select the open previous tabs cheq box. it doesnt work. Very frustrating! This is after i made firefox the prefered and protected browser. I cant change that it seems.

it seens what ever adons i try it seems not working properly. i get error as in screenshot i tried reinstall firefox, may be my account issue on firefox as same issue on all my 2-3 machines

For about one month (June, 2023) or more, updated Firefox for Windows 10 cannot play YouTube videos or videos on other website without being in Troubleshoot mode. Google Chrome has no problem with the same videos, and Firefox for Android also plays them. All help suggestions have been followed, including Refreshing Firefox, disabling some and all hardware acceleration, etc. Troubleshoot mode does not identify what was disabled (themes, extensions, etc.), but there are very few of such anyway, and Refresh did not resolve the issue. VPN was also disabled to see if that made any difference, but it did not. When the videos are attempted, the audio and progress bar work, but video is black. Scrolling with the progress bar reveals all images from the video one at a time, but PLAY does not enable the video, just audio.

somehow i found old firefox history and files and when i tried re-add a profile history got ERASED!!!!!!!! is there a way to get history back?????? (files are from 2017)

after Firefox updated all saved passwords and log ins are missing. I have checked and I only have one profile available. At a loss as to what to do to fix the problem. Help would be very gratefully received.

I have a large (1/3 of screen) black section at the top of each of my Firefox screens for CNN which will move upwards if I scroll but never goes away. Only comes on CNN page. Don't know how to remove it? See image attached below. Very grateful for help in removing this black section of screen. It may be some sort of advertising section?

I'm running Mac OS 12.6.6 and Firefox 114.0.1. When I try to log into my Google account, I get the message, "This browser or app may not be secure." I'm running the current version. Javascript is enabled. I've cleared my caches and data. I can log in to Google on other browsers, such as Safari. • This happened after I set up my browser to use Bing Chat, which required that I clear my cache and data.

I had a financial transaction on an business account that I did not enter. The tech services people told me it came from from my PC. They are a big company as opposed to a small 'mom + pop' operation. They suggested I take PC in to a Big Box store to get PC scanned and remove any virus/malware found. Contacting the big-box store they said they could scan my PC remotely to look for virus/malware.

So, my question is: Should I take pc to local computer experts/big box store or purchase virus software to use myself?

I do have several free virus protection programs on my windows PC.

I try to enter a new site & password with a long address. Manager truncates it to a simple dot com which brings up a "403 - Forbidden: Access is denied." error message. I have a bookmark that takes me to the correct login page, but Manager doesn't recognize it and won't suggest a login for it. For example: this page url is "https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/new/desktop/form" PassManager would truncate this to "https://support.mozilla.org" If I try to submit a new password, in the manager, it tells me there is already a site EVEN IF I HAVE DELETED THAT FAULTY SITE. This is a real problem and it happens on more than one site which makes the manager a limited feature. Unfortunately that makes my preference in using a Mozilla product (rather than Roboform etc) a distinct liability. Please give this some thought, thank you.

I would also like to see the manager remember the answers to secondary security questions on some websites login pages, if that were possible.

when i search something in the search bar up by the address bar it is suppose to be using google thats how i got it setup but lately its been searching under yahoo why please help

Since version 103 (around 10 months ago), I have had the positioning shown in the screenshot in the regular Firefox. However, I would like the button to resemble the appearance in the Nightly Firefox. Does anyone happen to know why the title bar buttons in my Firefox look like this? Could it be a setting that I have enabled? I compared it with the Nightly version, and the buttons appear normal (I also tested this 10 months ago with the Nightly version, which was version 105, and it looked fine at that time).

I use Firefox on MacOS 13.4. to read mail from a provider. For some strange reason some mail bodies are being displayed with a completely garbled and unreadable font, see attached image. However, not all mail show this behaviour. Is there any solution for this?

Please advise -- had an Xfinity outage mid-morning as all things were working just fine in Firefox -- after the outage I restarted the computer and had the MacBook Pro set to open all apps that were previously open. Everything opened back up except Firefox, so I clicked to open. It was the default start page as if Firefox was brand new. I went to History > Restore Previous Session . . . it was grayed out. So I restarted the computer once more, and went back to that option -- Restore Previous Session was available, but it only opened the 2 start tabs from the first effort.

How can I get back to the morning's setup? Or is that somehow long gone??
