I have been using a usrChrome.css in my profile to create multi-row tabs. (Why cant Mozilla see the need for this with 4K monitors?) The Oct update broke this and I cannot get FF to load the css file that has worked for more than a ywar.

Help please?

Firefox start crashing after the recent update, I use trial and error and figured it's specifically Youtube. Browsing on other sites, even watching videos from other sites has cause zero issues so far. All my recent crashes all states: "EXCEPTION_BREAKPOINT"

A couple of years back there was an extension called Tab Mix that allowed users to have multiple rows of tabs to allow more to be visible at a time. A major revision to Firefox rendered it useless. Another user figured out how to allow multiple rows of tabs (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVlLVySe5OI) which worked perfectly until version 131.0-64bit came out. Whatever was changed in it made the hack quit working. I really liked being able to see multiple rows of tabs because I tend to keep a lot open. I'm hoping that can be fixed with the next revision or two or that one of you has a different work-around.

Why did Norton block this since the latest update?

I want you to be aware a Northern Calif. Utility, PGE, has rebuilt their website so FireFox cannot be used. I do not know if this is legal. I can no longer pay my bill using their website, and by phone, I am charged a fee. I don't know if this is legal, but you should not want this happening to the only safe browser.

I recently updated to ESR 115 and then to ESR 128.2 and I noticed that there's no Ublock Origins icon. I checked my settings and was shown to a window of installed and suggested add-ons and there I found an entry for Ublock Origins with a blue on button marked, nevertheless, I can't find where it is and I can no longer find any window showing what it's blocking.

I've read about this in earlier threads, one from 2019, one from 2021.

I would like the Ublock Origins to be visible and also to be showing what it's doing. It used to show a number of hits that would go up with each website that was open, as it was blocking things.

I'm using a win64 windows 10 22H2

Hi there! It started yesterday. I keep getting warning messages from Bitdefender that a connection Firefox was trying to establish was blocked. I will include a screenshot of the warning. I searched the link included in the warning and it comes up as a Firefox related link. I had six or seven of these warnings within the last 3 hours of using the computer and am concerned and irritated. Firefox is updated automatically on this computer and I think the last major change would have been the "cookie jar" thing(?). Obviously, the warning only says that the a certificate has expired. I kinda need your help. I just switched from Windows to Manjaro Linux and I cannot retrieve my Firefox bookmarks and passwords. I do not have access to the old setup because I have formatted the disk and I have only this one on Linux.

I have used my Firefox account multiple times in order to login on a new device and every time it has retrieved my bookmarks and passwords but not this time. Before logging in from this device I had to reset my Firefox password because I had forgot it -- is this a security measure maybe?

Are my bookmarks and passwords gone forever? Thanks!

I've been seeing this more and more, but my toolbar will change by itself every restart. The add tab button will shift all the way to the left or not appear, the bookmarks won't appear, etc. I'm not sure what can be causing this, and I saw no way to "save" my current configuration other than pressing the done button upon using the custom toolbar, which I had done every time prior to fix my configuration. Does anybody know why this is occurring, and a possible fix? Thank you

On 2015 MBP Mac OS El Capitan 11.6 new Firefox 78.15.0 esr won't sync with my older MBP running El Capitan 11.6 but it will sync to the 2015. How do I get the 2015 replacement computer to sync?

When I open Firefox browser it automatically opens 3 tabs at web sites I have chosen . Now I want Firefox browser to automatically open a 4 th website. It was easy to do this several years ago by clicking on the opened website and moving the address to the home button. But this doesn't seem to work now. Has the process changed or have I just forgotten how to do it?

My profile seems to be corrupted. Starting Firefox with that profile completely crashes the computer, but when I reinstalled Firefox and it started with another profile it was fine. Switching back to my profile immediately crashed the computer. Is there a way to extract the history/bookmarks/passwords/etc. from my profile folder without starting Firefox? Thanks in advance!

This if Firefox 131.0 on MacOS 10.15.7 (Catalina).

Suddenly this morning, a new toolbar appeared on my copy of Firefox (131.0) showing one item, Getting Started, which I have no use for. I managed to delete it and it was replaced with something telling me to place my bookmarks here on the bookmarks toolbar, which I also don't want. How do I get rid of it as it's nothing else for me but a waste of screen real estate?

I accidentally clicked on "never remember passwords" and now Firefox doesn't ask me if I want it to remember a password. How do I reverse that so that Firefox does ask me if I want to remember the password?

There has been an upgrade of Firefox ESR to version 128.3 on Debian 12 bookworm.

Before the update, I could play videos, now I can't.

I precise I can play videos on Chromium, or with the video players.

I have libavcodec58, libavcodec-extra59, ffmpeg 5.1.6 packages installed.

There is an error in the console: Media resource xxx.webm could not be decoded. Specified “type” attribute of “video/mp4” is not supported. Load of media resource xxx.mp4 failed.

This command seems to indicate the session is X11 and not Wayland: ``` loginctl show-session 1 -p Type Type=x11 ```
