I have noticed for quite a long time (>1 year) that even though I have this setting correctly enabled to delete cookies and cache when closing the browser, when I reopen the browser, even after a computer restart, the data is still there. I have to manually direct the browser to delete these items for it to ever get rid of them.

I have spent countless hours looking at the same settings, all correctly enabled, yet this feature just will not work. I am fully current with the latest updates for the browser and computer. I have checked, and double checked to make sure I don't have anything listed in the 'exceptions' list. It is, and always has been empty. Using Win11 Pro desktop, current version of FF is 146.0.1 (64-bit) as I write this.

Seriously, what is going on? I even switched to another browser for a while and that browser's settings worked just fine and deleted all cookies and cache when closing.

Hello, I deleted Cookies and Site data and Temporary Cached Files and Pages, and all my Skype conversation and call history disappeared! Skype support say that they were deleted along with the temporary cached files. This is a major problem. Can anybody help me please?

Last night, I installed Firefox on my PC; after that, I installed the extensions I needed and logged in to YouTube, Facebook, WhatsApp & other places too. Then I exited the browser, SHUT DOWN my computer, & went to sleep. Today, in the morning, when I turn my pc on & open firefox, it shows all extensions & website logins are gone, like I never logged in.

I may have found the reason for this problem; I use an Microsoft Build app called "PC MANAGER.". In the app, I click on deep clean, select everything, & it does remove all the saved logins and extensions logins from Firefox. But in Google Chrome, it doesn't remove anything. To be noted that, when I use the deep clean feature, it also cleans Chrome, the same as Firefox, yet the problems facing Firefox cannot be seen in Chrome.

There's a bug with Firefox 134.0.2. where I keep getting logged out of certain websites, even without clearing my cache.

Is there a possible fix in the works for this issue?

Every time Microsoft updates my computer, or I shut it down and restart it, all the sites I use regularly do not recognize my computer and require me to identify myself (plus giving me messages that I am logging in from an unknown computer). What can I do to stop this?

To remove a cookie from a specific site, it takes about 8 or 9 clicks in "settings". I would love a one click feature that is easily accessible to remove that particular cookie. Any thoughts?

Upgrading my router for faster speed has turned into a two-day nightmare. I finally got two Yahoo e-mail accounts back, but still can't get into my gmail ones because gmail wants me to allow cookies. How do I do that in Firefox?

Hi, I've been trying to access academic articles through my university library online database. My browser often directs the shibboleth authentication to the sign-in page of my previous university, not to my current ones. An example is provided below: the first link gets automatically changed to the send one. How can I stop the browser from doing this, so that I can log in through my current university account? I'm trying to log into my gmail account, but every time I try, I am sent to the clear cache and cookies page. I have cleared my cache many times and still am unable to access my email on my computer through firefox. Can I get help with this? Thanks in advance!

Good day,my firefox has been acting weird for the last weeks.Everyday I have to re-login to all the sites I have been to,as if it doesn't save.E.g my email,I might login today,but tomorrow i have to re-login.Or youtube,today i login,tomorrow i have to re-login,confirming that I'm the one by going on the phone and pressing the correct verification number.Please,would you like to help me with this,so that i no longer need a phone and so that i no longer have to re-login the whole time.Some sites i had yesterday aren't even here now.

Yahoo and facebook are not recognizing my device and always ask for me to sign in with 2FA...Facebook asked if I want this to be a trusted device - I select Yes and next time I log in, password and text code....Yahoo Mail the same...asking for 2FA. I did not ask to be cut on and cannot turn off!!!!

The image I uploaded is all I am getting. I even got on line one on one with my McAfee and they got on my computer. I need help guys. Is not just browse, I am also having issues accessing the website I know my account has been compromise. All I did different is add 2 adds on that were recommended by Mozilla and I removed them but it looks like the damage was already done.

Is there a way to make the URL high lighting of the domain more obvious? I find that most people can barely see the highlighting and I'd like to make it obvious (bolder and red, or highlighted in yellow, for instance.)

Can this be done via userchrome.css?
