After opening my laptop since last night I can no longer download any files with Firefox. It only says it failed. I've tried some solutions mentioned like: - Firefox SafeMode - Firefox refresh - Reinstall Firefox - Clear cache and download

But as of yet not one of these solutions has worked. It is really annoying because there are no problems with the other browsers like (Edge and Chrome) and yesterday it worked fine.

Any other solutions I could try?

Ive tried everything from this article https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/cant-download-or-save-files and this one https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-and-diagnose-firefox-problems. I tried opening in safe mode. that didnt work. I also reset my computer as this is a brand new PC, and i cant figure it out. I have no idea whats causing it, it just randomly happened today in my web design class when i was trying to download some files

When I go to download something from the internet, Firefox displays a "failure to download message". However upon looking in the download file the file appeared despite Firefox saying that it did not. AVG (my current antivirus) was also updated today if that helps.

I can't download any type of file since yesterday, didn't change anything. Files just 'Fail' when i click download, they didn't even start downloading. I already tried Safe mode, uninstalling Antivirus (Kaspersky), and everything of this article: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/cant-download-or-save-files Here are some examples, tried to save facebook images and failed, same to 'Malwarebytes' launcher.

Downloading isn't working on Firefox. Works on Edge and Opera. Doesn't seem to work with any files, regardless of size. Already reinstalled, refreshed and done everything else I can find. What else? Edit: Works on my laptop; The issue is only on my desktop.

When trying to download .jar files for minecraft they just fail instantly, no reason it just says failed. the downloads work on chrome. it worked a couple days ago and i have not changed anything since then. i have restarted my computer, loaded firefox without addons and refreshed firefox. ive also disabled avg and malwarebytes

The files still appear in my destination folder but they are all 0 KB. This problem appeared completely out of the blue. I already tried resetting Firefox and all the solutions suggested here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/cant-download-or-save-files
