i looked up lots questions and solution. nothings seems to work. i did all Troubleshoot and diagnose Firefox problems. cleared cache, restarted firefox, refreshed. everything I could do. nothing works.

could you tell me what else I can try?

Greetings ! For the last two days I have not been able to access Facebook or Amazon websites. When I use a shortcut or try to type in the URL, the display says something like using Google or such when I have my default set to Firefox ( And I confimed that it is set as such). I can click on a tab or reach anything else ok. Also, those two are accessible through Chrome or Edge ok on here and also on my phone and tablet.I have cleared cache and such multiple time and removed extensions. It is just those two sites on this device on Firefox. I think there was an update recently too.. Thanks for an assistance anyone can give. Cherry

I am experiencing an issue where Google.com (other google domains work fine) will not load in Firefox, resulting in an infinite loading loop. Other browsers on the same system (Brave) work fine.

Here are the steps I have already tried:

Reinstalled Firefox completely

Removed Firefox via sudo apt remove --purge firefox -y

Cleared all user profiles and caches: ~/.mozilla/firefox, ~/.cache/mozilla, ~/.config/Mozilla

Reinstalled via Flatpak

Tested network connectivity outside Firefox

curl google.com works correctly

DNS resolution works via getent hosts google.com in the host system

Checked proxy settings

Ensured “No proxy” is selected in Firefox → did not resolve the issue

Tested in Safe Mode (disabling extensions)

Problem persists, so not caused by extensions

Tried disabling IPv6 inside Firefox

network.dns.disableIPv6 set to true → no effect

Cleared DNS cache inside Firefox

about:networking#dns → clicked “Clear DNS Cache” → no effect

Disabled DNS-over-HTTPS (Secure DNS)

about:preferences#privacy → “Use secure DNS” → disabled → no effect

Disabled HTTP/3 (QUIC)

network.http.http3.enabled set to false → no effect

Verified Flatpak network permissions

flatpak info --show-permissions org.mozilla.firefox shows network access allowed

Inside the Flatpak shell:

flatpak run --command=sh org.mozilla.firefox getent hosts google.com

→ returns only IPv6 address: 2800:3f0:4001:839::200e google.com

The site for our 501c 3 non-profit (Caring Hands For Angels, Inc) is flagged as deceptive and blocked by Firefox. I have no idea WHY this had happened nor how to correct it. I noticed on a google search that all the TV reports and newspaper articles about the organization show up in a search but not an actual link to the website. Is this because Firefox blocks it? Is it Google which is blocking it? We need help and don't know where to start.

I am so tired of this. I am continuously being blocked from webpages because Firefox says I am not able to access them. First it was Macy's website and now it is my bank website. I have just gotten a new computer this week, but it was occurring on my previous one. I am 71 years old and am not a computer whiz on these situations. I was able to access my bank account this morning but not now. Total bullcrap.I really liked Firefox, but if it continues I will switch to something else. I just received this error code.
