I have 3 laptops all running windows 10 or 11. These all share a docking station giving access to an extended display, keyboard etc. All laptops run fine with the docking station except for one issue with the newest laptop... The screen resolution, only on firefox on the one laptop, (everything else is fine) is completly out of whack. I have tried the zoom function but no luck. I have trawled the internet but all the solutions are from 10+ years ago and refer to different versions of firefox and windows. I am not a computer geek so please dumb down any advice.

I'm unable to load any web pages since receiving an update 4-17-24 on Windows 11. It doesn't seem likely I'll be able to get another update to fix this via the browser. What do I do? Uninstall?

The latest version of firefox for MacOS 14.4.1 has broken the picture in picture function. When enabling PiP, the video window takes up almost the entire screen and doesn't remember the size i set it to, like it did in older versions of Firefox. Another issue is when im in fullscreen mode and enable PiP, the PiP window takes me to another 'desktop', whereas before it would simply overlay on top of my screen.

I installed an OBS plug-in for a virtual camera so that I could film my screen and pretend it's a webcam. I was able to use the virtual camera or my webcam on spelltable.com by selecting either from the dropdown "allow" menu. One day, I was no longer able to select my webcam. I could only select the obs virtual camera. I switched to MS Edge which worked as normal. I've uninstalled OBS and all plug-ins. Same result I've reinstalled firefox. Same result. I've been using MS Edge for websites that need my camera.

when I search for a page after opening a tab. The page will load slowly then stop. I'll then have to hit enter again for the page the load. This does not happen with Chrome or Edge. Any ideas how to fix this frustrating issue. Thanks.

When I launch teams or slack from firefox on windows, I presume that a slack:// and teams:// or equivalent url is launched by the webpage.

As a developer working on Browser Picker, it would be quite handy if I could inspect these urls that gets launched, is there a way I can see the actual protocol url that got launched somewhere?

When I watch a youtube video with chrome my cpu usage is 20-30% When I do the same with firefox my cpu usage is 50%

Running `about:support` and going into `webrender_compositor` I get the following errors under `env`: 1. Blocklisted by gfxInfo 2. Blocklisted; failure code 3. FEATURE_FAILURE_WEBRENDER_COMPOSITOR_DISABLED

I have set almost all these force renders = True and even granted gpu access to firefox flathub but still no difference in performance. I am asking now because I am just going in circles in the rabbit hole.

Why some Wikipedia pages cannot activate reading mode under Debian 12 and Firefox ESR 115.9.1, for example this English Wikipedia page on Emmabuntüs does not allow reading mode to be activated while French, Spanish and German pages can ?

Or otherwise in which Firefox log file to see if a page is compatible or not?

With the update to 115.10.0esr my bookmarks that were on the left hand side of the screen are gone. When I look at bookmarks there are a few, but I had multiple folders for different subjects, I do not find. I would like to have the procedure to return my bookmarks back to the left hand side of the screen with all of my bookmarks, bookmark folders, and other bookmarks like it was prior to the update. Hi Every single one of my passwords is compromised according to you. Therefore I think the data breach is with Firefox . I have set up several unique passwords recently - how are they breached so soon? And why every single one. It is very suspicious. Regards Caroline

Had to replace FF with Chrome in order to play DRM content on my W11 laptop. I get message saying you are downloading remedy, but nothing ever changes. Would prefer to continue 15+ year relationship with FF, but seems like youre abandoning capabilities for DRM video content?

Whenever I get a link whether in an email from a verified sender or from using a site like Amazon, clicking on a link always results in "Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site." This has happened ever since loading the most recent version of Firefox (124.0.2) and it is very, very frustrating. What is causing this? Even in "safe" mode this occurs. Please rectify this situation. I do not want to have to change browsers after more than 20 years with Firefox.

On the page listing passwords, it was possible to sort them by "Alerts".

In settings, there is an option to enable checking the vulnerable passwords: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-password-manager-alerts-breached-websites

On my other laptop using Firefox v121, the alerts are properly displayed. But on my second laptop using Firefox v124, the alerts are gone. I can't sort password by "Alerts", the option isn't there. Both laptops share the same Firefox account and have password synchronized between each other.

Obviously, I ticked the "Show alerts about passwords for breached websites" box in the settings but it looks like it does not nothing. I also checked in "about:config" and everything seems good.

Is this feature gone?

We have an application where we do not want to share the session cookies between tabs. Is this possible? If above answer is yes, next we would like to filter out some cookies by name that should not be shared across tabs. Meaning, we want some cookies that can be shared across tabs and some should not be shared.

Hi, I did a clean install from win10 to win11, then installed firefox and logged in to my account but it havent synced anything? All my saved passwords and bookmarks are gone!?

Can someone please help me get them back! Does anyone have a solution for this?

Read something about that a backup is saved on your computer? Isnt saved to a cloud? Thats what a thought! I have done a clean install on a new drive, old drive i already wiped aswell! Doesnt have a windows.old dir or anything.

Please tell me everything isnt lost!

Once updated Firefox all old tabs didn't open ( and it was not possible to restore them anymore). So I'd like to restore all old tabs of yesterday session. Really important for my work. Looking forward to hearing from you asap. Regards, Orlando.
